How many different kinds of kinds of people do you have in your life? Is your social circle more homogeneous or do you have a diverse group of friends?

I just moved so I don't know many people and I think the people I'm gonna work with are gonna be all the same. But it'll be nice cause the city is so diverse and vibrant.

I like to believe I have a diverse group of friends, especially at work. When I was an undergraduate student, it was more homogeneous lol.

Hmm... I would like to say I know a diverse group of people...

Aggressive b-ballers, closet otakus, conservative gamers. my employees.

One of my best friends is a person who I have so much in common with it's terrifying. We once ordered the same meal, side dish, drink and dessert that was so in sync our voices overlapped and it freaked out the waiter...
Don't be ashamed of what you love... even if other people find it embarrassing or pathetic embrace it... Love what you love, you'll be happier that way.

I've never really thought about it, but I've actually got a fairly diverse group of friends. When I think of my friends IRL, there's people like theatre-loving semi-weeb, a horse-riding revhead and a quiet parent among others.

When you add in the people I talk to online? All sorts.

I used to have a very large and diverse social circle, but over time it just kinda dissipated...and honestly, I'm fine with that. I only have one person who is in my life in a meaningful sense, and really that's all I need or even want.

I suppose it's interesting knowing lots of different people, but I find that the more people you know the less personal your connections are with them, and you don't really get to know much about them as people. They're just statistics or boiled down to things they are/do, and not really individuals. Maybe that's just me, though.

You know, I don't really think a group needs to be large to be diverse.

When I was younger I had a large group of friends however they're all a bunch of fake snakes and now I only have two best friends who mean the world to me and I have a lot of great banter with them. Obviously I have a lot of online friends that I met from playing different online games and different forums.

But I'm currently moving to Walsall which is another city...
and I don't know anyone so lol that will be fun.

I'll get back to this thread when I find some "friends". Until then, if someone feels like telling me what that word means, they can just go right ahead. :)

This is really relevant right now, yesterday was my last day at school ever and I realised how diverse my friends were, they won't be forgotten.

Uhhh not many? I don't have a lot of friends. I mean I have people I get along with at work, like one friend I hang out with irl, my boyfriend, and my family. That's about it. I mean I have friends really, but they're all still in school and I'm not, nor do I live near the school anymore so it just. Doesn't happen. God I sound lonely lmfao
