There's lots evil team bases you have to infiltrate.

Which of them are your favorites?

My favorite is the Team Rocket Casino from Kanto. I liked how it was hidden right under the busy Casino. Then there's finding Giovonni on the bottom floor in a guarded room.

I suppose I kinda like Po Town and N's Castle the best. Would love to see these again someday but expanded/way bigger.

Spoiler:
I might have stopped back at the 4th gen, but to this day I still regret it,
Natural "N" Harmonia Gropius' bel castello marcon-diron-diron-dello is
probably one of the many reasons I ought have kept playing.

It has arisen around the Unovan pokémon league, with its stunning
architecture and its incredible size (but the architecture is the most
breathtaking thing, of course...). I can't find many pictures, but the few I can
get show the interior decor is as worthy as the outside looks. It's saddening
however to learn how such a work was made.

And, of course, there's the soundtrack... truly wondrous...

Let's see if my ear can guess all of the instruments... we have:
-pipe organs
-strings ensemble
-tubular bells
-timpani
-piatti
-reversed cymbal
-choir
-vibraphone
There's an arranged version in Super Smash bros for 3DS&WiiU,
and I can't choose the one I enjoy the most. This version
has a drum kit instead of timpani, piatti & reversed cymbal,
and adds electric guitar, trumpets, music box and a bass that sounds like a
fretless one(but I might be mistaken. Ah, yes, the strings are missing-nope, they're
not, they're just not heard as much.

I'd also like to mention the Go-Rock Squad and Team Dim Sun.
Their hideouts may not be much, but the track for the Go-Rock Squad's mountain hideout,
as well as the one for Team Dim Sun's ship and drilling platform hideout are so driving and
dramatic a fan-dev may as well consider recycling them for an in-game event or a battle.

I'm kinda tiring out, so I'll just type one last thing : the flute's panning game in the
Go-Rock Squad hideout OST(too bad it isn't heard clearly in the videogram...).
Oh, also, fretless bass appearing in almost every track and the percussionist had
too much coffee.

I am but a tearful clown. Though I smile, I cry inside.

Po's town, probably because of how sad and lonesome it feels. It truly drives home that Team Skull are really just a bunch of kids/young people who band together in order to feel a sense of belonging. The town setting only serves to illustrate how Team Skull are a substitute for a close knit community, however, the houses being neglected and vandalised shows how dysfunctional this team is. It could also show how they are lashing out at the houses as representations of family and/or society as they feel that they been rejected from them due to their failures (namely in being unable to complete the Island Trials).

I actually genuinely really like Po town. See, with evil teams, they typically have this super fancy hideout and it's easy to (for a lack of a better way to put it) get used to. Po town is different because it really paints a dark and a bleak picture of what was once a small town being overtaken by a group of thugs.

The symbolism really shows, here.

Po town was memorable for me, because of being made to pay for using the Pokemon Center.
