Gummi lv. 44 @ Quick Claw
Color Change
[ Aerial Ace | Shadow Ball | Strength | Rock Smash ]
y'all see where i'm having to put these ugly hm moves on my team smh i hate these things so much. anyway tho uhhhh you'll never guess who took out wallace's milotic................if you guessed dustox you are correct lmao. toxic + light screen was a monster, plus outspeeding milotic and resisting confuse and freeze from water pulse and ice beam respectively. shield dust is an ability that don't PLAY i'm tellin ya. anyway i'm off to get a few more tms that will make it into my final move slots and then i'm gonna plunge through victory road and probably do a little more grinding after that and. we'll see how the elite four and champion go...especially considering i still can't read anything in the game and i'm playing in set. i'm having fun playing in set tho and this team has forced me to strategize again and i like that. i normally go for all out attack and just race through the games, but i think that's part of why i've gotten so bored with the series as of late. this has been really fun so far so i can't wait to see how we close out the remainder of our journey.
Head On
Lv48 w/ Cleanse Tag
Zen Headbutt/Crunch/Dragon Claw/Rock Tomb
To be honest, I got Shelgon way too late in the game for him to be super useful, and Surskit/Koffing were pretty squishy and would typically get one shot, so MVP goes to Armaldo for sure.
sorry for not updating in like. two months. i am insanely exhausted, ive forgot how long and slow the first two fifth gen games are. i trained a little before brycen. he wasn't hard to beat. caught the final team member, Alph the Golett in Dragonspiral Tower and finished the Team Plasma Event there. then i realised i didnt have anything that could use fly yet. so i bought 15 super repels for traveling from twist mountain to mistralton. then i realised i was a big dummy. you can catch tranquill in the grass beside the gym.

Hey, your team is Muk, Raichu, Magcargo, Huntail, Slaking and Heracross. The team's a bit late game so if you want a reroll on one or two of them then feel free.
I'm looking for a reason to play Ultra Sun one more time before Sword/Shield come out.
There dosen't seem to be anyone needing me to roll for them, so...

Exclude NFEs: Yes; with exception of Trade Evos [Bar Clampearl]
National Dex: No
Restrictions: Not so much a restriction, more I don't want to do an extended solo run because those just end up as you overlerveling and smashing everything, so if it rolls that way, feel free to do a couple of extra rolls for 'placeholder' teammates for me to use until lategame ones show up. Just make the placeholders clear. I'd say use placeholders if I'm below 2 members at the end of Melemele; 4 at end of Akala and 5 at the end of Ula'Ula.
Also I'm fine using NFE's for Trade Evos; such as Kadabra; Haunter; Machoke; with the exception of Clampearl because Clampearl is basically unusable.
@EccentricEncylopedia
Of course! That'll be a plusle if that's alright with you.
That's perfect. I didn't used any of those pokemon in emerald as far i can remember, so this will be a fun run. Thank you for rolling for me!

Since i don't own neither US nor UM, a quick look in the pokedex reveled that this roll was good one:
Weavile
Magnezone
Wishiwashi (SCHOOL form)
Forrestress
Gumshoos
Cradily
So, if you want do re-roll, feel free to do so.
Now, let's start the fun:
LOG #1 --- From Littleroot to Petalburg Woods.
Spoiler:
Well, hello everybody. This is my first log and my first official challenge since a long time ago, this log will just be a introductory one, so i will just talk about the most important: that is, i going from the truck until Petalburg Woods, where lives the first pokemon of my team. Thankering again @EccentricEncylopedia for rolling for me.
FROM LITTLEROOT TO PETALBURG WOODS.
Started exiting the truck and entering home, where i adjust the wall's clock and get a potion in my PC. After that, i briefly see a documentary about Norman and then we're invited to talk to May.
The rest goes like every start in Ruby/Shappire/Emerald: We talk to the rival, save his/her father from a pokemon using one of the starters and he then let us keep it. I choose torchic since i would be running only a normal type for about 3 or 4 gym's and fighting a combusken would not be nice.
After that, the Professor ask if we want to see his child and to progress in the game we go there, however, we need to stop by a important place first:
OLDALE TOWN.
Why would this be a important place? Because FREE POTION! Yes, i'll need them a LOT. Since we can't bypass the man blocking the road to Petalburg, we are forced to fight our's rival (This mean hitting SCRATCH/POUND/TACKLE 'till someone faints). After that, finally the Professor gives us a Pokedex and some Pokeballs to catch something.
Note that i going to skip the 2nd rival's meeting/catching tutorial/parent's meeting since it is just a introduction and we still need to go there to conquer the 5th BAGDE anyway. Other important thing is that i am skipping all the optional battles along the way, since SLAKOTH can be caught the moment i step in PETALBURG WOODS.
No sooner said than done, once i get in PETALBURG WOODS, i go to the grass in right and start searching for SLAKOTH until i find a female one at level 6. A bit damage, a pokeball and...
DONE! I have caught the first pokemon of my future team: a female SLAKOTH called WHITE!
No more to be said in that somewhat lenghty entry: i went back to PETALBURG, boxed Torchic and started training WHITE against the trainers i sneaked by. One thing to be noted is that i didn't know that the SLAKOTH's family unique ability: Truant would be such a PAIN to deal with.
"But, it just skip one turn."
Yes. Not so problematic when you have various team members, but alone it JUST loses ONE TURN! Basically a free hit turn to the opponent. Geez, no wonder any other pokemon, except some other obscure ones, have it.

Heya, thanks for the response! Only problem is that I can get two of these before the first gym, I probably should have been more specific in my description on the ruling with that. To elaborate, I was hoping to have only one of my Pokemon be attainable before the primary gym battle.

Ohhhh okay, in that case Bibarel or Kricketune can be Skuntank instead! :)
@MudkipMafia
Can someone re-roll my Dragonite and Ambipom for Ultra Moon? I believe they are postgame only
There you go:
Sharpedo
Menectric
That was not the first roll, but the other ones seemed kinda common or late-game, if you wanna Arcanine, Lycanroc and Palossand were one of the other rolls.
I completely forgot that the fossil pokemon are completely asinine to obtain in USUM. You have to have a Rank 3 Isle Aphun [Requireing 60 pokemon minimum in your boxes]; and then it's a Very Rare outcome for a mission which takes 24 hours. And that very rare slot is shared with every single fossil+Golden Bottlecaps. Basically it's like Munchlax on honey trees level of stupid. If I was in Ultra Moon it would be alright; since it's an option from Olivia. But in Ultra Sun you get the Claw Fossil instead and have to Pokepelago for Root.
Sneasel isn't available until literally right before the E4, but I plan to do postgame so I'll keep that one.
I'd like a re-roll on Craydily however. It's just too time-consuming to obtain. Sword/Shield could actually be out by the time I get a Root Fossil.
Or just swap it out for Armaldo; which is basically the version counterpart.

Confirming team of Primarina, Hariyama, Masquerain, Sharpedo, Manectric, and Metagross. Funny that 5/6 are Hoenn mons, should be fun!
Immediately I can see where my first major challenge is going to be! The team has worked out surprisingly balanced, even with two Bug-types and two Steel-types, also, this list of pokemon, besides Magnezone, are all pokemon I've never actually used in an in-game playthrough.
I push through all the intro. God Gen 7 why do you stop me every 5 steps? I chose Rowlet for this part because Popplio should be easy to handle with Magnemite.
Then I realise that what I think is the first problem isn't the first problem. The first problem is Hau 2. Yungoos is a physical attacker; and Pichu has Charm. So Yungoos needs to be strong enough to deal with both Pichu and Popplio; despite Growls and Charms.
I catch Yungoos; it's Naughty Nature with Strong Jaw, so that's good. I grind on Route 1 to Lv8; which takes quite a long time. The difficulty of this battle entirely depends on what Pichu does. Chomper immediately takes Pichu to red... and it uses Charm. Worst-case scenario. Although no Static. Since I'm -2 Attack I give Popplio a Leer, but even after that Popplio Growls and Tackle is a 4~5HKO. Popplio's Water Gun is a 3HKO. Also; Hau's Popplio is Female. Despite trainer's pokemon usually having genders lining up with their own; and Popplio having a 12.5% female ratio [despite it's obviously feminine design in later forms...]
Luckily; Popplio keeps Growling mostly; and I only take a 2nd Water Gun from outside Torrent Range. If Popplio Water Guned once more I'd have lost [Well; I'd have been forced to just spam Growls with Rowlet until I was KO'ed; since I can't box Rowlet yet.]
I catch a Magnemite; but it has Magnet Pull. Frankly; to have any shot against Hala; I need Sturdy; so, I go catch more. And yes; Hala is obviously going to be an absolute nightmare with nothing but a Normal-type and a Steel-type. Machop's Revenge is strong enough to usually OHKO even neutrals and Crabrawler has All-Out Pummelling.
I get a Sturdy Magnemite on my 2nd Magnemite. It took about 10 mins to find this 2nd Magnemite.
i might drop the white run. i forgot how slow and agonizing fifth gen is, though i still love the games, its just very exhausting. i could do another run in Omega Ruby since its a lot more fast paced. we'll see.
Howdy! Between the logs i made some training fighting against the trainers i had ignore and backtracking my steps until where i found WHITE: Petalburg Woods, now that she is well trained we can pass through it without problems (except if i run out of POTIONS and end going all the way to Petalburg because TRUANT).
Apart from rescuing the Devon employee and defeating a team aqua's member (although this is not the last time we'll see him), nothing really happened in the woods. The route between it and Petalburg was not interesting, either. A boy(?) right the exit gave me the Bullet Seed TM, oh man, if only WHITE could learn it. Sigh...
The flowershop's women gave me BERRIES and a Waterpot which i thought it would be usefull, but i didn't need it really. The rest is about me fighting against the other trainers.
Let me note how stressful is fighting against a SHROOMISH with the EFFECT SPORE ability: i attacked it once with WHITE and it paralyzed her, after that whenever her could attack, paralyze would take over. Just... no, never again.
After reaching Petalburg, i paid a visit in the Woodcutter's house to get CUT and used it in WHITE to "better" STAB, in the Trainer's School to get QUICK CLAW and in the pokemart to resplanish my POTION suplies and get some ATTACK X. Then i went to the route after the city(which goes to the caves) and grinded in there like there is no tomorrow.
In the beginning i thought that no heavy grinding would be needed, however after fighting against ONE geodude and almost beign out with CUT's PP and almost beign killed, it was clear that i would need to grind a LOT. Again, sigh...
On the other side, once WHITE evolved into VIGOROTH and i could attack in every turn... What a relief, i must say.
Now that i had VIGOROTH, Roxanne would not be pose much a problem:
VS. ROXANNE
I must say, i glad i grinded WHITE, because she would not have defeated Roxanne the other way. He started with a geodude whose level was way higher than the others. It was not a problem to WHITE, then i used both ATTACK X and won against the 2 geodude with cut. It was time to Roxanne send Nosepass in. Boy, i glad SLAKOTH learns SLACK OFF, it saved her a lot of times and in the end, nosepass went down and it earned me my FIRST BADGE.
