Hmmm... I can't think of any odd ones except one that occurred to me when I was still in kindergarden (probably around 5 or 6 years old). I was sitting on this wooden teak chair in front of this what you Americans would call "Mom 'n' Pop store" (we call it "Auntie Stores" here). I put my finger (I can't remember which one) into one of the grooves on the chair and was promptly "bitten" by something. I remembered seeing something black in the side of my fingernail, and I was definitely in pain. I forgot what happened after that other than my mother coming to look at it and putting a plaster on it.

To this day I still can't figure out what was that black thing, or what really happened.

Well, the most idiotic injury I've ever obtained would likely be spraining my ankle after falling off a curb. You know... the 6-inch curbs around the roads that separate the sidewalks from them? Yeah, those. o_o;
I trip on those daily n.n'

Me, only things I ever drink are water and milk and I haven't broken a bone in my body yet, although you wouldn't believe me if I ever told ya the punishment I've been through though. Anyway as for pain, it was only about 3 months ago, I woke up, still half asleep to get a drink of water when I stubbed my 2nd toe from my big toe on my left foot. I didn't feel anything for the first 2 minutes until out of no where the pain was so brutal, it swelled up so bad too, lucky my father was home, I got him to drive me to emergency and when it was icy outside too so it made it worse but anyway, it literally felt like I was walking on my bone. I waited 45min for the doctor to come in and he gave me pain killers and told me to come back in the morning since it was midnight. And I ended up having to walk to the emergency that morning with no crutches, on the ice feeling my bone... >.<!!!

I have fractered my left leg when i was 7, stabbed myself with a knife last year at Los Angles on vacation, and i broke my left middle finger playing soccer. I got kicked in the hand playing goile

Ops! I forgot! On March 15, i had a REALLY ANNOYING pain on the lower left side of my sotuch *bad spelling* Anyways, for weeks, i pucked every night. One time ot got so bad my mom took me to the hospitle the next day. I had about two blood-draws, and one i-v. Then i was still bad all of that week. That Thursday was horrable! It makes me sick thinking about it! Anyway..., they kept me up till about 1 in the morning to do stuff to find out what was wrong with me. So the next day, EARLY in the morning*bye the way, i live in Hilo, and all this took place in Waimae, 1 hour from where i live* I had to do some tests. My mom *whos works there* gave me a i-v so that they could take some blood. It was horrable. I almost passed out. Anyway, they took some tests, then i came back again the next day..., ONLY TO HAVE SURGEY!! It was the 14 of April, i was put to sleep, and they took out my apendics. That was the problem. They also had a exploratory *which means they look all over inside of your stomach* It hurt SOO bad that my mom and i stayed at the hospitle for a night. I have been o.k. since. It was really bad after the surgey, but i got better. I also was poked by a needle TEN times. I was scard of them untill after all of that. Well..., i left out the details, it was MUCH worst then it sounds...., believe me!

Who! Biggest and BEST post i have had! Too bad it was on a painfull experience :(

My sister jammed my left pinky finger in between her bedroom door and the wall it was connected to. It hurt. I could hear the bone crunching. It hurt. Then I fainted.

I was playing Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and I was up against Gannondorf, and I broke my frickin' thumb! I screamed, and still went on. That was really, really painful!
Woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah...woah.......playing Zelda? Were you like, mad at the game or what? O.o

Anyway I once went off a diagnal ramp and fell and my bike sliced my head and had to get 8 stitches....>_< I didnt feel the pain until I woke up...XD

Most painful was probably riding a shopping basket at the park and at the end I came to a complete stop and flew right out(I was standing), and I landed on my chest but my lower body kept going and my body pushed in and bruised my ribs. I didnt go to the doctor either, I just stayed home...that was fun though....

i'm a walking disaster!

-broken foot. i was walking into my parents' room one morning, and i tripped and i kicked a trunk they had in their room. i thought i was fine. the next day it hurt really badly and i couldn't walk at school so i went to the ER that night. they did x-rays and said i had a 3 yr old fracture but they were referring me to a podiatrist. i go to the podiatrist and he did several xrays and tells me that i snapped/shattered one of the main bones in my foot.

-broken foot (again!). i was in rehearsal for a play. it was a scene where i was dancing, and i go up on a set of risers we were using as stairs for that scene, and i fall off and break my 4th metatarsal (last time it was 5th). i did the play without realising i had broken it. a few days afterward i went back to the podiatrist since it was hurting quite badly, found out that i broke it.

-broken wrist. rehearsal for a performance. fell down and broke my wrist.

-foot surgery. not too long ago i was having problems with my foot so i went to the podiatrist again. he said i had a crooked bone and he had to do surgery to fix it. yep.

-appendicitis. self-explanatory. i got appendicitis and had to have surgery to remove my appendix. that was only a week ago...

as i said... i'm a walking disaster

Really only two... -_-;

-Broke the tip of my finger. I slammed it in a door, and just stood there screaming about it for ten or so seconds, before it occurred to me to open the door... :confused: I've never been the brightest bulb in the box, lol. Anyway, I went to the doctor, and they put it in a splint that I had to wear for two or three weeks. It wouldn't have been so bad, except it was my middle finger, and every time I'd pick up a glass or a fork at lunch, people would tease me and tell me to quit flipping them off, lol. The nail turned black, and fell off afterwards. It was really weird, lol.

-Tore up my right hand. This one I can attribute to childish stupidity. Y'see, I lived in a neighborhood where school was only a few blocks away, so I would walk to school every day. Anyway, there was this dog that lived in a yard on one of the corners I walked by. And it always seemed very friendly and sweet while I was petting it, but as soon as I walked away, it would go nuts, barking and snarling and jumping up against the fence. It was a German Shepard, and a big one too. I just always assumed that it was mad at me for stopping the attention, lol. So I'd just laugh at it and be on my way. Well, one day, I was walking to a friend's house with my brother, David. We walk by that yard, and the dog isn't in it. He's in the back yard, around the other side of the house. They have him in a smaller enclosure up alongside the fence, and there's a big sign up next to him that says "Beware of Dog." I laughed and told David that the sign was silly, and that I could walk right up and pet him if I wanted to. Naturally David dared me to do it. So I did. The moment I put my arm down over the fence to pet him, he jumped up, grabbed my hand in his mouth, chomped down hard, and started shaking for all he was worth. I didn't even have time to scream. I just pulled as hard as I could, trying to get my hand away. When he let go, and I stumbled backwards, I looked down at my hand and nearly passed out. He had torn it open completely to the bone, and I could see all my ligaments and muscles, bone, and everything else beneath the torn flap of skin. I immediately began screaming my bloody head off, wrapped my hand in my shirt, held it tightly to my chest, and went and sat down on the guy's front porch, screaming like a maniac. My brother was nowhere to be found. Turns out, he had taken off as soon as he saw the dog bite me. He ran straight home and told Mom, "Mom Mom! A dog bit Jennifer!" So she told him to go get me and bring me home, and she'd doctor me up. So back he came.

The man whose porch I was sitting on, came outside to find me screaming bloody murder, and when he tried to get me to show him my hand, I wouldn't do it. I was afraid that if I didn't keep it tightly wrapped in my shirt, I'd bleed to death. Needless to say, my hysterics drove him to hysterics, and he ran inside, yelling back that he was going to get me an ambulance, and that I needed to stay right where I was. At about that time, David came running up. He took one look at me, and then ran back. He went back to the house and hollered "It's okay, Mom! The ambulance is on its way!" Of course my mom was like, "What the heck?!" And she ran with David this time. Everyone got there all at once. The ambulance drivers wrapped my shaking hand up with gauze, and offered to take me to the hospital. But my Mom said it would be okay; she'd drive me there immediately. So off I went. I ended up getting 73 stitches, inside and out, and a long, thick pin in my ring finger to keep my broken bones from getting damaged if I tried to move my finger.

But that wasn't the end of the ordeal. My bones had been nearly shattered along that knuckle, and they were afraid that I might get an infection from it, which would be carried through my bone marrow to all the parts of my body. I had to be in the hospital on an IV for a week. During that week I missed my 6th grade dance, and the baby chicks hatching from the incubator in science class. :(

The man whose dog had bit me came to visit me with his girlfriend, and they gave me flowers, balloons, and a whole bunch of candy. I found out later that they had moved because the judge had ordered the dog to be destroyed, and they didn't want to do it. It turns out that it had been trained to kill, and they had been keeping it in a neighborhood where the kids outnumbered the adults 4 to 1. Big mistake, ne? When they moved, it ended up biting another child, and nearly tore the poor boy's arm off. That kid's dad came during the night and shot the dog himself. :/

Anyway, to this day, my hand is still pretty disfigured. I've taught myself to type with it, despite the fact that they told me originally that I'd probably never be able to play a piano or type on a keyboard. I showed them. :P

When I was 6 me and my friend were outside playing gameboy. My friend's friend came on a scooter asked what we were doing. We said "Playing Gamebo." He said "Whatever." WHen he turned around he accidentaly slammed the scooter edge in to forehead. I had this huge hole. I had to get stitches. Ouch!

When I was four, I didn't know any better so I was jumping on the couch then I slipped and hit my nose on the table. I was bleeding really hard. I had to get stitches.
