None are really sad for me but I almost cried in a movie that I forgot the name of.

Perhaps one of the war films we were forced to watch at school... you know, Gallipoli, stuff like that... I don't really remember, I cry at everything anyway~

"One reason why mathematics enjoys special esteem, above all other sciences, is that its laws are absolutely certain and indisputable, while those of other sciences are to some extent debatable and in constant danger of being overthrown by newly discovered facts."
Albert Einstein

"What science can there be more noble, more excellent, more useful for men, more admirably high and demonstrative than mathematics."
Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."

If this is about movies, it fits better in Other Entertainment. ^^;

Mmm... I don't really find movies sad. x_X; That's probably just because I don't watch enough of them, though.

Anim wise Graveyard of the Fireflies but non-anim I'd have to say "Man on the Moon" for me, Jim Carrey did such a well job doing Andy.
Grave Of The Fireflies is the saddest movie. I've never seen Man On The Moon. I should see it sometime. A sorta 'sad' Jim Carrey movie was The Truman Show. Quite touching how he got on the boat and tried to leave. And then the dude tried to drown him. But it was pretty funny how Jim was laying on the boat after that 'thunder storm' and when the boat crashed into the wall XD. Another pretty touching Jim Carrey movie was The Majestic.

Sometime you need to
break the rules
and stand apart
ignore your .h.e.a.d.
and follow your .h.e.a.r.t.

What doesn't kill you
only makes you .s.t.r.o.n.g.e.r.
so when you think your hurtin' me
your just helpin' me last .l.o.n.g.e.r.

Hold on to who you love
stay true to what you know
take everything you dream of
and .n.e.v.e.r. let it go
