And Morgan Freeman was Lucius Fox! He only dedicates himself to quality movies (except for The Big Bounce, that BOMBED.)

Not only was Raz Al-Ghul my favorite Batman villain before this, but to have him be played by Liam Neeson...it was perfect o_o;

My advice, do not go to see this movie with friends who aren't Batman fans. -_- I was hyped for this movie, couldn't wait. I ended up going with a large group, and I sat by two of my friends who are absolutely NOT into Batman. I was affected by their sarcasm, etc. I honestly think I would've liked it more if I'd gone alone or at least without them. --' I plan on seeing it again in theatre because they just ruined it for me.

Saw that movie yesterday with my friend and his 'date'. Aparantly they were to go alone. but she wanted to invite someone and it all spiraled downhill from there but that's a different story. I loved this movie, but Scarecrow should have done more in the movie. And whn they mentioned hat he experimented on his patients at the nut house, it made me think of my favorite villan Bane. And Raz Al-Ghul reminded me of the batman villan Shin Tzu; who premiered in a batman videogame. A first for the series.

Scarecrow was disappointing--I was hoping for some of the antics I remember him for in Batman/Superman adventures. He went down far too easily and didn't have enough clever tricks or weaponry at his disposal. I did, however, find him quite creepy (in and out of the mask) for the short time he was posing a threat to Batman.

This Batman movie easily beats the other ones. It gave much more credibility to the character, since he's now not only seen as some guy that dresses like a bat and saves Gotham everynight....
It's a cool movie... I left the cinema pretty satisfied and it took away my desire of watching War Of The Worlds.... XD;;

One happy fact: No more nipple suit! XD!!
EXACTLY. Batman's outfit is supposed to look like, well, a batsuit, not a roman soldier's breastplate o_o; Hopefully the costume designers for Batman Forever/Batman and Robin are sewing up hobo underwear in a soup kitchen for money.

The trailer for War of the Worlds acutally made me want to see the movie, RP XD

Yes, yes, I'd be going to War of the Worlds in spite of it having Tom Cruise in it =p I'm interested at how many RPMs H.G. Wells will be spinning in his grave after this great butchering of his classic.

And the CG looks entertaining too XP

Well, I saw it the day it was released and its far better than Batman Forever and even Batman and Robin, so if those are stopping you from seeing it, then you've nothing to worry about.(a friend of mines made me see it... I don't go to the movies anymore. o.O)All though its been a while since i've seen the original batman movie, i'd say the new one easily compares to it.

It definatly is a must see, Batman Forever & Batman + Robin just killed the whole series, and may offput a lot of people from going to see this film. However if you see it, you will be greatly surprised and amazed, as well as entertained at how much better this is.

In my eyes they have really redeemed the film, and given it back the life is once had (with Batman and Batman Returns).

Definitely a must see!

Those [i]were[i] basically the only two downsides, unfortunately. Scarecrow was a lot more meaningful and menacing in Batman/Superman Adventures, which was the standard I was holding the interpretations of the villains in this to.

The batmobile was an ill-conceived idea. There was a good explanation for why it looked that way, but the looks themselves were unforgivable. I have matchbox cars less chunky than that.

But still a great movie, even now I can't stop thinking about it ^_^
