Hi all,

I bought a few decks and boosters when the cards first came out, played a few times then forgot about them. Unfortunately I think I've given away the 3 full decks I had but I recently dug up a few stray cards in a drawer. Been looking about to try and get an idea of what they're worth but prices seem to vary wildly even for cards that seem identical (ie not 1st ed, not shadowless or misprint etc).

Am I right in guessing that it's the rarity but also near-perfect condition that makes the most price difference? And if that's the case, since most of mine are near mint or mint, would it be worth getting them PSA graded and wrapped?

cheers,
Geoff

Welcome to PC! We actually have a few people around here who can help with the value of cards. Check out the "What is this? Is it fake? How much is it worth?" Thread. It'll also help them if you provide pictures as well. I do hope you decide to stick around after getting help with your cards. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy your stay!

Welcome to the forums! I hope you're able to find an answer in the TCG section! The mods there are really on their game and will most definitely help out. :) Why don't you tell us more about yourself?

Well I'm a chippy/guitarist/nerd, & (when I have time) board game/computer gamer. Got the cards pretty much when they first came out, had 3 decks & played against a couple friends, but I last played probably about 18 years ago hence the good condition of the cards.

A friend of mine recently started collecting the cards seriously, which is why I dug them out to see if they were of any value, since they're 1999 edition.

If they are worth something I'll be a little bit gutted as I only have a few odd cards - I did have 3 full decks (plus a few swaps depending on the opponent), that I think I gave away to someone years ago.

Also I don't want to pointlessly spam, but there's a 5 post requirement for links so I'll try find something to join in on but otherwise I'll just put them in here
