Ok, I'm wanting to post about Marathon in Other Games, including where to get the files needed to play them. They've been classified as "free to download from certian sites" by Bungie, the creators, now that the only other way of getting the games, buying the Mac Sack game disk, is gone. Basicly, it consists of downloading specific files and the Aleph One engine.

My question is, would it fall under the ROMs rule, or not?

DP: Bungie, the guys behind Halo, made Marathon. The two games tie into each other in some way, though most people really don't fully understand it.

Drewcool: Thanks for giving them the link.

Hm... well, if the creators have given the go-ahead to download Marathon from the website, then it's considered legal. In other words, you should be able to post it without any trouble, but I'd recommend waiting for a staff member's approval first, so your thread doesn't end up locked.
