I know it's meta-changing/game breaking af to introduce 3rd typings to Pokemon, but darn it there's just plenty that deserve that 3rd one to define it better.

One's that come up in my head immediately are Venomoth (it has wings why can I hit it with Earthquake) and Inkay/Malamar (I feel like literal squids need a Water typing y'know?)

What other mons do you guys think deserve a 3rd type?

Fire/Water/Grass of course. Blastoise absorbs fire and flowers into it's cannons and becomes a giant hybrid of the original starters.

As for something more realistic, I would like to see a Fairy Steel Ghost. Having a Mimikyu possessing an Aegislash. (Or Vice Versa).

Any Pokémon that can fly can get the flying type added on. Flygon is the first that comes to mind. Especially considering the word “fly” is in its name.

Charizard: +Dragon
Gyarados: +Dragon
Lapras: maybe +Dragon (or Rock like most dino Pokémon)
Dragonair: +Water and Flying (maybe Water for Dragonite, too)
Noctowl (and maybe Hoothoot): +Psychic
Ledian: +Fighting since it has boxing gloves and can learn several punching moves
Gligar line: +Poison since they're part scorpion
Delibird: I could honestly see +Fairy with its Santa theme
Lugia: +Water (maybe even Dragon, or swapping Psychic for Dragon)
Mega Swampert: +Fighting
Masquerain: +Water
Sableye: +Rock
Mawile: +Dark
Aron line: +Ground (I sometimes mistake them for Steel/Ground)
Hoenn fossils: +Water
Staraptor: +Fighting
Lucario (and maybe Riolu): +Psychic, because aura
Gallade: +Fairy for its elvish appearance
Stunfisk: +Water
Dragalge: +Water
Incineroar: +Fighting
Golisopod +Fighting (and/or Steel since it looks like it's wearing a suit of armor)
Solgaleo: +Fire
Cinderace: +Fighting, because kicking
Inteleon: +Dark
Mr. Rime: +Fairy

I also agree with adding Fairy to Celebi (and most other mythicals), Bug to the Trapinch line, and Flying to all Pokémon capable of flight.

celebi, definitely! i think its two types fit it, but fairy would be even more fitting. wouldn't be opposed to it being grass/fairy if need be.

Solgaleo: +Fire

At first I read this as Pokémon that deserve 2 die.

Charizard is the answer in both cases.

On a more serious note, I too would give Celebi Fairy type.
Also would give Dark to Girafarig.

I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a thing in the future when they're running out of ideas. This would be interesting and could work out if executed well, and I must admit I would have prefered this over Dynamax in Gen 8.

I can't wait for a Rock-Ground-Fire type Pokemon to come out and instantly die to a Bubble.
