I got a super cool new backpack as an early birthday gift (which is october 3rd), and I thought I'd show it off~ I'm also autistic (which many of you probably know, yes, but not everyone does lol). So, having a backpack like this is super ideal for my anxiety and stuff. It provides me with certain kinds of stimulation from boredom to nerves and much more! :3

Here's what I have in it: A small ziploc bag of cheerios (for the munchies), some M&Ms (dad is diabetic), a water bottle, some activity books, writing idea journal, my wallet, bandaids, fidget/calming toys, my highlighters & mechanical pencils, a little pouch with my pencil grips & erasers, my twistables (coloring utensils) to go with the activity books, my Axel plushie, some lotion and Advil (for my back because I have back problems).

It can hold a muk tone of stuff too, and I think it's going to be my ideal backpack from now on!

Spoiler:

With that said, what is usually in your bag/purse/pocket?

Anything, my purse is big so I can carry what I bought, if anything, in it instead of using a plastic bag. Or I can store my mom's stuff in it because as she puts it: her purse is annoying. Also have my masks, I keep one in my coat too.

When I went to my appointment today my pockets contained my wallet, phone and a half-empty packet of tic tacs. That's pretty much the usual configuration with the mint of choice varying lol.

hmm

1. Small pouch with things like chapstick, spare hair tie, deodorant, hand mirror, etc
2. wallet
3. tissues
4. water bottle
5. phone
6. keys
7. portable charger

Seems to be it, though only about half of it all is essential for me aha. I do need to add some Advil to it though, for those random occasional headaches :(

Backpack: Bunch of junk -- I'll keep basic mediciation (like cold/pain meds), lip balm, nail clippers, snacks, lunch box, water bottle, face masks, phone charger, headphones, sometimes my bluetooth keyboard for typing on my phone. I also store my keys and watch in there when I'm not at work.
I used to keep my wallet in there too but honestly I don't use it anymore? I didn't want to bring more into stores than I needed at the beginning of the pandemic, so I just started throwing cards in my pocket.

Pockets: Work keys in left pocket; locker keys, work ID and debit card in right pocket; phone in the left back pocket; trash bag rolls in right back pocket when I'm at work. If I'm going out shopping, I won't have work keys, and I swap my work ID with my state ID.
Before the pandemic, I'd have lip balm in my right pocket, but I don't need it on me anymore. If my lips get dry I can run to the locker room for my backpack.

I have several bags of varying size, so it depends where I'll go and how long I'll stay there. The common things I bring though are my wallet/a few cards, keys, phone, flashdrive, lip balm, pen, glasses, and a small notebook.
