236931 So basically, a filtered vinegar isn't cloudy and has had the "mother" or starter culture removed, such as a SCOBY which is used to ferment the vinegar, also usually means it has been pastuerized. I drink unfiltered apple cider vinegar in the morning because the probiotics you get from the culture is great for your gut health.
Edit: SCOBY = symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, growing your own is super cool and under the right conditions, they will go crazy!
