There are many details in Pokémon that we might not notice the first time. What are some things you never noticed at first?
-Found out last year that it's spelled Phanpy and not Phanphy, and that it's Mesprit and not Mespirit.
-It took me a few years to realize that it was "Getsis" and not "Ghetsis" when I was a kid. I actually said it as Jeetis at first lol
-You can see Pupitar on Tyranitar's stomach.
-N's castle theme in BW2 is a slowed-down version of the BW theme. (I played BW2 before BW so sorry if that one is obvious)
-You can hear the same drum sound in a part of N's BW2 battle theme and Colress's battle theme that is in Ghetsis's battle theme.
-This one is harder to hear, but throughout the Team Flare grunt theme, you can faintly hear the same "beeping" sound that plays in the theme for the Team Flare hideout under the café.

It took me a long time to realize that it's NineTALES, not NineTAILS.

I thought for a while that Slowbro evolved into Slowking, I didn't realize it was a split evo until I had to get one on my own.

I feel like I've got more of these but I can't think of any right now. I'll come back when I remember!

i got lots of misspellings to list here:
- i thought it was spelled Politoad, not Politoed (which does make sense on the word play).
- i used to read Ponyta as Pontya lol
- i used to keep misspelling Kecleon as Keckleon.
- i thought Vespiquen had an extra e
- i thought Flaaffy didn't have an extra a
- it took me so long to know how to spell Exeggcute and Exeggutor without looking at guides lol.

aside from those:
- i was so focused on Diamond and Pearl's lack of Fire types that i didn't even notice it only had 2 Ice types in the regional Dex too.
- for some reason i keep thinking there's a Galactic Commander named Venus, even though no such person exists.

Well there's another one added to my list. I've always pronounced it phranphy haha.

Along with having no idea how to spell any pokemon correctly (dyslexic af), I pronounced suicune as sue-ee-coon for so long that in my brain the correct pronounciation sounds like a totally different pokemon to me

Yeah I still do this sometimes, I have to double check when I type Kecleon

That's still better than me, I used to say Suicune as sue-see-nee and my friend had no idea what Pokémon I was talking about

today I learned

It took me foreeever to realize that Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres had uno (1), dos (2), and tres (3) in their names. Embarrassingly long. :x
