So, which Hogwarts house do you think you would end up belonging to if you had put on the Sorting Hat at the age of 11?

Here's a quiz that you might not have taken yet, if you need one. Or maybe you already know which house you belong to? :)

Always been a Hufflepuff, all of the qualities are most like me. Hardworking, loyal, kind, fair are all words I would have used to describe myself ordinarily so I think Hufflepuff is the strongest house for me by far. I think the next strongest though would be Slytherin. I like working with purpose and achieving my goals. I'm very highly ambitious and want to achieve a lot though those goals are people-oriented and aim to help the community and wider world around me. I'm the least like Ravenclaw and always have been. :P

I used to think I sound the most like a Gryffindor in both positives and negatives, but I keep getting Hufflepuff in quizzes. And I do like Hufflepuff the most, it really seems to have the nicest members and philosophy - not prioritizing ambitions, glory or knowledge over what's right and fair and kind. I hope that I have some of that at least :3

The quiz would put me in a house since it has to, but whatever the result would be, I don't feel like any of the houses really fit me.

I got Ravenclaw, I'm fine with that. To be honest with you, I'm rather indifferent to all of this, I stopped caring about Harry Potter.

Ravenclaw. Expected that or Hufflepuff. Steers clear of the other two.

This test is probably for bigger fans than me as I am randomly choosing answers on quite a lot of question as none of the options ring a bell to me (like the spell or potion names).
Haven't really been into HP for quite a while either.

Anyway, the test gave me Hufflepuff.

It said Ravenclaw. Granted, it's been ages since I last bothered with the franchise and I don't really care all too much about it. I actually had to guess a couple things, as well. xD

Maybe this was a bad test tbh, haha. It was fan-made. Will try to find the "official" one...

I think this might be one of the quizzes that takes all the questions from Pottermore and puts them into one (bigger) test https://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=mte2mdawoq2srl

The Pottermore one doesn't show all questions in one go, it's randomized I think.

The quiz gave me Ravenclaw but I would absolutely suffer because I'm stupid as sin and you have to solve a riddle to get into the dorm.
Honestly, I could see myself as Hufflepuff or MAYBE Gryffindor? I have a lot of honesty and integrity, but I don't work well under pressure so most likely more Hufflepuff.

I believe the quiz Ravenclawed me because I like art and creativity. That doesn't mean I have a mind.

Ravenclaw usually means you value information and/or creativity and/or uniqueness more than you value ambition or bravery or fairness/kindness.

Basically Ravenclaws are the nerds who don't care if others think they're strange. They know their worth <3

Every time I take these I get a different answer but I tend to think I lean more towards Slitherin. I have strong aspects that relate to each like being stubborn, observant, quiet, blah blah but I can be a bit manipulative and kind of jackwagon without intending too so..
Keep being amazing.

The franchise has been dead to me for quite some time now, but I'll still answer - I used to think Ravenclaw, but then I eventually came to terms with being a Slytherin. That's also what I've gotten when taking the quiz on Pottermore several times.

The first books really had Slytherin be the Bad Guys :tm: but later interpretations (hate or love 'em) mostly make them out to be ambitious and cunning. Not bad traits!

I think if it was DnD, Slytherins would often have high Wisdom or Dexterity, Ravenclaw high Intelligence, Gryffindors high Strength or Charisma, and Hufflepuffs overall just even lol.

I'm in Gryffindor, and as the Hat says, "You might belong in Gryffindor, where dwell the brave at heart, their daring, nerve and chivalry set Gryffindors apart." After that would be Hufflepuff, but I can definitely be lazy and procrastinate when there's something I just don't want to do.

I already got sorted into Hufflepuff a long time ago on Pottermore, but I tried to answer all the questions of the above quiz like I imagine I would've when I was 11 and I was kinda surprised to still be sorted into Hufflepuff! I don't mind; I think that house probably suits me best.

Old quiz gave me Ravenclaw. Not terribly surprised because I value art and creativity so much. Expected Slytherin though tbh.

New quiz gave me… nothing cause the site is down rip lol.

Grabbed an excerpt from a song in the books. Introduces the basic theme behind them.

For each of the four founders had
A house in which they might

Take only those they wanted, so,
For instance, Slytherin
Took only pure-blood wizards
Of great cunning just like him.

And only those of sharpest mind
Were taught by Ravenclaw
While the bravest and the boldest
Went to daring Gryffindor.

Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest
and taught them all she knew,
Amounts to "the leftovers". Lacks a strong identity. Valued hard work, supposedly. Dealt with that house the least in the books. Works out somewhat in its favor, however. Portrayed members of the other houses in unflattering lights at times.

Hufflepuff is the best house because:

- Hufflepuff is an open, egalitarian house, the most inviting of all the houses at Hogwarts.

- Where Gryffindor, Slytherin and even Ravenclaw strive to make their houses feel like an exclusive club, Hufflepuff has what is essentially a doors open policy. As the sorting hat’s song in The Order of the Phoenix explained, Hufflepuff believes in “teach[ing] the lot and treat[ing] them just the same.”

- A Hufflepuff’s patience, kindness and reliability make them excellent people. They’re the Cedric Diggorys of this world, humble to a fault, and loyal to a tee. They’re a house that can produce such varied and distinctive alumnae as Newt Scamander (loves animals, endearingly scatter-brained, never boring) and Nymphadora Tonks (painfully cool, the first person at the party and the last one to leave, will defend you to a stranger after meeting you only fifteen minutes before, drunk, in the loo.)

- They’re the house that has produced the fewest dark wizards.

- They’re the house that supplied the most supporters in the battle of Hogwarts at the end of Deathly Hallows, after Gryffindor. Crucially, Hufflepuffs stayed to fight not because they were battle-hungry like their Gryffindor compatriots but because they felt a sense of duty, J.K Rowling has said. Quite simply, they’re good people who do the right thing.

- The truth is that it is hard—even remarkable—to be a consistently kind person. Treating other people well is an active choice. It’s always tempting to act selfishly or take your anger out on someone else. And it’s even easier to do those things when you live in a culture that tells you being kind isn’t important or cool. You can be caring as well as smart and brave and ambitious. Choosing to embrace your identity as a Hufflepuff just means that kindness is the quality you value most in yourself.
