My family really doesn't know much about Pokemon at all. My brother played the earlier generations with me, but fell out of them around generation IV. I got my boyfriend into Pokemon GO, though! He was super judgy until he realized that Pokemon is a way of life xD and now he asks me to go out and play.

Pretty mush the stereotypical Pikachu calling whenever they happen to catch a glance of a Pokemon on my screen.
Heck to to them the game could be called Pikachu, where you catch loads of different Pikachu.

They know one Pokemon at least I guess, even if only by name xD

Sibling: Started alongside them. Lapsed during the 3DS games. Returned for Sword/Shield, Let's Go, and Pokemon Go.

Father: Played the pinball games. Knows about the games, but not much else.

Mother: Never played any video game outside of Scrabble, a few frames of Wii Sports bowling, and maybe some Jackbox games at a recent birthday party? Recalls no others, at any rate.

My parents know of it, but that's about it? My parents were "Pokemon'd out" as soon as I got into it so they never cared to know ,uch about it.

My siblings play Pokemon Go, and watched the anime, though.

my mother only vaguely knows of it, and my sister plays Pokemon GO as far as i'm aware so she's probably aware of a few more Pokemon than she did when she was a kid. that's about it, though.

My sister only knows the first gen Pokemon since she has played Pokemon Red and she has watched the Indigo season. My parents only know who Pikachu is and they don't know much about Pokemon. Same thing with my grandma since she also only knows who Pikachu is. I also watched Pokemon Heroes with my grandma at the movie theatre and she was pretty lost at what was going on in the movie.

My mother knows what a pikachu is.

My sister is more familiar, we played pokemon go together for a bit too. Her favorite is ninetails.

What little my dad does know about Pokemon is from way back during the original height of Pokemania, yet he has always been a big Snorlax fan. Like, to the point that earlier this year he told me he was on the fence of buying a Snorlax plush that he saw, but was worried that the dogs or my one year old nephew would get at it.

well I'm sure they've all heard of it, I mean my mom got me a poster of pokemon, my younger brother drew me some pokemon, my youngest brother collected and played the trading card game with me, and my older brother owned/played pokemon black when we both got it years ago (if I'm right I think we got them both on my birthday) and I don't think my dad has any experience with pokemon, just that I've talked about it with him and he refused to watch the detective pikachu movie because he said it was for babies
despite all that, I'm the only one that will consistentally talk, and think about pokemon.
