Hello again!

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to make a new script for a static legendary encounter. I'm trying to make a Jirachi encounter in the Altering Cave of Fire Red. I already have an overworld sprite for Jirachi, I'm just struggling on the scripting part.

I also want to make a script that gives a one time legendary egg from a legendary, if that's possible to do.

Once again, any help will be greatly appreciated!

Ah yes, a signature....

The sprite is a custom shiny I made for a romhack.

Which part of scripting do you need help with?

Though it may be better answered by Avara’s excellent scripting tutorial.

Using the tutorial you sent, I made a script that I want to test but now it's not saving to the rom. I'm clicking the gears to compile it and it XSE is acting as if it had, but closing Advanced Map and opening it again shows it didn't. What do i do?

I figured out the issue, I had the wrong start offset named in Advanced Map.

EDIT: I could use some help with flags. I'm trying to set one when the pokemon is caught so it can't be battled again, but it doesn't seem to be working. Nvm, I got it.
