Hmm yes, I mean that's obvious lol. I might be missing the point, but that kind of logic can be applied to everything, because wanting something might not result in achieving that thing. Working hard for it is important and in most cases it brings results, but there's luck. Sometimes things just happen and what you have worked for just vanishes. That's a more general discussion, but the logic is the same.

Everyone should learn some self-defense.

Sadly, very sadly, I agree. Here in the UK, we're not even allowed to carry a spray - an alarm is all that is permitted - so I actually think self defence should be taught to everyone, and if I was in the government, I'd make it free of charge to everyone that wants it too. A far better use of resources than the things we do waste money on ;(

I got no idea what even makes a pizza 'Deep Dish'. *starts googling*
Oh those thick pizzas? I've had them, though only supermarket ones. As a result any different cooking technique used in making them are unknown to me.
Idk, there's pizzas I like in both the thick and thin categories =p
The thicker crust doesn't really make that much of a difference to me tbh. I'll disagree, I guess.

I agree, but generally stressful tasks do motivate me.
What doesn't motivate me is boring tasks XD

In my experience, the introverts will have to make efforts to follow the extroverts, while the opposite is not true... I don't know if that makes them compatible ^^"

Not compatible is a harsh statement. Different energy levels exist but such things can be worked through. There are many introverted/extroverted partnerships and friendships in the world.

Anyways, moving on.

I don't agree in the sense that nothing lasts forever, but I don't think it's ending anytime soon.

It sure is. But it also fails a lot more and quality is still not 100% up to speed. I can tell because I actually the Switch's built in Bluetooth Audio and that really likes to cut out every now and then. ^^"

Everyone should learn some self-defense.
Yes but no? Self-defense is mostly considered when we talk about getting assaulted on the street. However, there's some big problems associated with that. First of all: self-defense is a way to assert resistance. It's basically you telling them that you're willing to fight. The problem with that is the people who assault other people know what they're doing. It's in their day to day routine so to speak. If you make clear to them that you will fight then they too will do so. And they will fight dirty. Which means: you may end up in serious, maybe even life threatening, danger.
Second Problem: they never come alone. Doesn't matter how much self-defense training you had. If there's more than one of them then your skills will mean nothing. And trust me: I've been in that position before; they never come alone. They're just too much of a coward for that.

The thing about self-defense: you basically only have one chance to make a move. And that chance has to be used as a way to get away from then as soon as possible. Because the longer you stay the harder it becomes to come out unscathed.

You'd be surprised! Sometimes opposites really do attract!

With decent implementation, absolutely! A good codec goes a long way to solving some of the quality problems too.

Not all attacks arise from situations like those unfortunately, some aren't escalated at all, they just happen with no warning. Also, they often attack in groups yes, but other times some of them attack very much alone. Knowing a few moves of something like Krav Maga to help you escape the situation can mean the difference between life and death.

Just to clarify a bit about my latest post.

Spoiler:
Introverts and extroverts are rarely compatible.
Just wanted to say that my statements in this game tend to be pretty neutral, like it's not always what I think. Sometimes I disagree with the statement I propose. This is not the case tho, but it was cool to see people had different views on it. Personally, as an introvert, it didn't really feel easy. I actually had several extrovert friends, but if I think about it, I have never found myself in a comfortable situation: it was always them wanting to do something and I followed them lol. Making it work with an extrovert is pretty hard for me now, like even some of my family members, which is kinda odd I guess.
Also, anyway I didn't say "never", but "rarely", which implies sometimes this happens. This means someone could have disagreed to my statement because "it never happens that they are compatible".
Anyway, that was just to clarify.

Disagree. Sometimes leftovers are pretty good, but like yeah no lol.

I haven't been to either in years.
But the sea means you have to go to the beach, which means sand everywhere in your clothes. So Pool it is, and thus a Disagree! 😉
the actual act of swimming in a pool vs sea makes no difference for me either, so that would be a disagree too =P

I disagree! I don't see one genre being better than the other. I, for one, think FPS are quite fun being played with friends and/or online! In the one (an MMOFPS) I am playing, I love spending two hours fighting for the same building, with continuous and relentless "pew pew pew" and "boom" all around! Back to the spawn-tube, insect!
That said, I still certainly enjoy playing a certain science-fiction RPG...

Turn-based strategy games are better than real time strategy games.

I find turn-based strategy to be easier for me as I have the reaction time of a Slowpoke... (this is "à propos" as we say in Canada)
I used to enjoy Age of Mythology though...
However, I am not good at strategies anyway, so I don't play many strategy games.
I'd say it boils down to personal preferences so I'll say I prefer Hack-n-Slash in which you mindlessly hit everything that's not you. 😇

Action games are better than strategy games 😇

We will never get rid of physical or mental pain. But we can get rid of as much suffering as possible. We just don't do it because of the stupid hierarchical thinking that our society employs. So yeah, I agree.

Having a house with a great mountain view is better than a house with a great sea view.

For view alone... probably. A mountain view would probably have more diversity.
Whereas a sea view sounds monotonous to me... though you could still catch some wildlife surfacing depending on how close to the sea it is, I suppose.

Guess I'll agree though I have no strong feelings towards either.

Ignorance can be bliss.

Nah that's just a Guard-Maker-Simulator.... you know... making adventurers take arrows to the knee. Why do you think all the guards bring it up so often? 😏
Also I don't see FPS listed as it's genre on Steam... 😉

It definitely is the easier option. Especially after you're done with the ~80% that are pretty straightforward and you're left with the frustrating rest. Then again, when you're that far you probably shouldn't.
But agree on those tasks you were never really into in the first place and aren't very good in, anyway.

I've always lived in big cities, and I don't have the permit. I've even lived in a city where having a car is detrimental, because the metro is way faster, less expensive, doesn't have traffic jams and doesn't require you to find a paying parking place 10 mins away from the place you actually want to go...
So I don't know, I find cities (the cities I know of) are already pushing towards public transports.

Living very safe means you never take the risk to make a step further in your life.
Not that I relate to this...
