Depends. In life, sure. When commuting, not really. So I'll disagree I guess.

Open Source products by and large have terrible user interfaces, and that's a big part of why open source will never overthrow proprietary.

I mean we could always start comparing different UIs. What's better: Adobe Photoshop or Krita? Or how about Blender or Maya 3D? There's some really complex things on both sides. And yes, you relativate your statement with "by and large" but I'm not gonna give you that! :P

We need to replace all sppons and forks with sporks!
EDIT: Elden Ring is an open-world heroic-fantasy RPG :O
It's also a game made by FromSoftware who is a Japanese developer. And it's being used currently to call out all the western open world RPG developers who pull these shenanigans.

Other ones are Zelda BotW (a game that I actually do not like) or the Xenoblade games.

disagrees. both have there pros and cons but books can never replicate the same feeling a visual-audio medium can in terms of fully immersing myself in the story/world. however, if a book gets adapted into a movie then the source material is vastly superior than it's adaptation (not always), books are also more detailed and longer- something that i enjoy. they also help improve my english as well. but as stated above, it just can't compare to the impact a good film will present. especially if a scene is thrilling or it's a fight scene.

80's-90's anime look more aesthetically pleasing than most of the new ones.

I would agree due to boomer nostalgia, but I have never watched any recent animes lol.
I abstain :)

Sport is defined by the competitive aspect, not the physical one.

Thus, chess is a sport, esports are sports.

The way sports usually are, I'd probably agree to that, even if I do dislike how competitiveness is always such a major part of it. It brings out a lot of bad qualities in people.

Agree, but someone still ends up paying and be it just the tax payer. It's another one of these things that should be pretty straight forward in theory but ends up being complicated in practice...

I agree! Smaller plushies can embellish a room / make a room cuter, but you can hug big plushies!

E-sports are sports.

The way sports usually are, I'd probably agree to that, even if I do dislike how competitiveness is always such a major part of it. It brings out a lot of bad qualities in people.
The hidden question was "would you define a practice as a sport because it is competitive or because it requires physical abilities?"
It's because I still cannot get over chess being called a sport while some people contest that fitness is one T_T
And I noticed that those defending chess being a sport do because there is a competitive aspect to chess, while fitness overall is mainly about being in shape. So competition seem more important to some people to define a sport, rather than the physical aspect.

Reheated food just simply does not have this evenly cooked feel to it. It's just stuff thrown together and put into a microwave. I guess you could say the optics already lower the quality a little, as well. So, agree.

"Vote with your wallet" is a myth within capitalism that suggests the customer has power over companies and corporations by simply making the decision to "not buy their product".

The idea here in particular was that you can't exactly be like "who needs food/clothes/a roof/etc., anyway".

Sufficient for who? the employer or the employee? 🤔
If you can put in enough hours to earn enough money to be able to afford your day to day expenses in those 4 days, I don't see the problem. There's a lot of jobs with empty hours where you're just at work simply because you have to be, even if you already finished everything you need to and have nothing to do anymore that day.
However there's also plenty jobs where you have a workload where you just never seem to have enough time to get it finished, or you need those hours to be able to pay the bills.

I'll just disagree as it really depends on the type of job imo.

Sure. Though, I'm probably too much of a workoholic to ever go for a three day work week. Four days I've kinda tried, by virtue of having too many vacation days left, so I could take off the occasional Friday this month.

AI art is boring.
[SIZE="1"]However there's also plenty jobs where you have a workload where you just never seem to have enough time to get it finished, or you need those hours to be able to pay the bills.
The first one can be solved quite easily: hire more people. And having more people work on stuff means there can be more stuff which means lower bills/prices. :P

Spoiler:
In spoilers as it's a continuation on a previous statement...

There's also people who get bored when they don't have anything to do and actually like to work; so not only does it depend on the job, it also depends on the mentality of the employee.
Case in point: my workaholic of a father. He retired early; got bored of having nothing to do all day after like two weeks and started doing stuff for his employer again lmao
He likes his work and needs something to do. Although it's not 5 days, as he is 'retired' after all, there are undoubtedly people who feel the same way but for the entire week.

'retired' = working three days a week apparently lol

I sometimes find it amusing to use them to look for the hidden gems, as like 90%+ of what they make tends to be bad.
But yea, you just click a button or two and wait for it to do stuff for you, so it is boring.
As far as the subject matter you feed into the AI goes, it's not necessarily boring ofc.

People should plan less and live more in the moment.

The first one can be solved quite easily: hire more people. And having more people work on stuff means there can be more stuff which means lower bills/prices. :P
Ideally yes, but in my experience prices don't go down once they've gone up =P
Instead wages tend to get corrected for Inflation. Though even that doesn't always occur xD
