Well, disagree. I mean, as long as you mean only smartphone, then I could quite agree because you could use an old phone and a computer to cover most tasks, but if the question involves the idea of all modern devices for extension, then yes I have to disagree. Smartphones and technology are so much involved in our daily life and in society that are a constant part of everyday actions and especially jobs, as well. I think nowadays all kinds of job require you to have and work on and/or with a smartphone. So yeah, even if you could find an alternative for personal reasons, society and work make it hard for you to not have a smartphone. For instance, they basically "force" you to have one, I guess.

I might be getting too much into it, but when I can discuss, I do lol. My philosophy teacher in high school had an old phone and didn't want to use a smartphone, but he needed a computer and used it instead. In my opinion that was kinda meaningless, because while not having a smartphone indeed makes you avoid all the extra things you can access from an everyday device in your pocket, on the other hand you basically do the same from another device that is instead on your desk lol. So, nothing changes at all. And by the way, it was also his job and all the extra stuff he did outside school that forced him to use the computer.

Video games should have a more accessible price.

Agree! Especially in the age of downloads. They don't have as many physical costs anymore. I especially hate microtransaction games...

Disagree. I can't see the connection. Microtransactions usually let you pick and choose what you buy. I can see a case for Gacha games though.

A delayed video game is better than an early rushed product.

Obviously agree. The worst part is that they made it an actual strategy, as well. Sell an unfinished game and then drip feed the missing stuff. Nintendo in particular has been doing this for the last couple years. I've actually heart that these minor updates are done because that way fans with an audience in particular give them free advertisement over a long period of time.

Despite all the setbacks currently, society is still progressing into a positive direction.

Hmmm... well... what one considers positive is subjective.
I think I'll Disagree, simply because I consider various changes, over the last idk how many years, in the behavior of society in general here detrimental rather than a positive.
To name one example: the increase in violence against Ambulance staff and the Police (amongst others). It's downright atrocious if you ask me, especially the cases of ambulance staff getting assaulted as they go somewhere trying to save someone's life. 😤

It is far too easy to take things for granted.

I disagree because it gets really awkward when you have two people who think that way and they don't know when the conversation is over.

Agree because I guess it's too late or we have so much few time that Governments won't be able to afford the necessary changes. Some Countries are not even really interested in that, unfortunately.

Tv series, as a format, are better than movies.

Hmmm probably agree. In most countries you can usually get by fine with just that country's most prominent language.

People focus too much on naming/labeling things.

I agree so much. I usually go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am, but when I go out and come back too late, I know that the day after will be ruined. That's why I don't go out more than once a week ^^"

Given that I really really hate the heat even when there's no heatwave going on I can't fully agree on that. Instead, I'd put them on the same level.

Sundays are pretty much pointless weekend days because of how limited the things are you can do, as well as the fact that it precedes another Monday so you may not even be able to stay up late.
For most people, it is not necessary to learn a second language.
I'd say if your primary language is one of the most spoken languages in the world (like English and Spanish) then that's definitely true. For other countries there was a time when they would still translate a lot of media into their own languages which meant that people didn't need to learn a second one. However, nowadays there's a lot more material primarily available in English. So you kind of have to know at least a little bit about it.
Actually, when I still went to school we started learning English in 5th grade. But nowadays students learn it already in primary school.

I think, what trips me up in this is the "most people" part. Because that's a very relative term. Like, most people don't even have English as their primary language. ^^"

Disagree.
Sundays are usually my chill out and relax days to recover from the workweek. Which is not pointless. I also barely go out (if even at all) anyway so most stuff being closed on Sunday doesn't have any impact whatsoever for me =P
If I manage to motivate myself I can even get a bunch of stuff done too!
Also Monday is a day off for me so I can stay up pretty dang late if I want to 😉 😏

Personally, probably yes. In general, I would say it goes case to case. I think pay is important, depends on your life goals. Obviously, if you don't enjoy your job, it's going to be very hard especially with the passing of time. I would never recommend it to anyone, maybe only if the pay is a REALLY GOOD pay.

From my experience, I can learn from success, but most of the time, I learn better, and more, when I fail.
However in my country (or Europe in general?) failure is seen as shameful and some people will mock you. Dark Souls (yes, again) helped me understand that failure is not the end, it is not shameful, because you can try any area, any boss, again and again, until you master it enough to beat it. It's a lesson of life! I wish I had known earlier that I didn't need to be perfect to do something.
I'll say I agree because ultimately, my goal in most of my activities (hobbies, jobs, relations) is to become better, and failure is (in my opinion) the better teacher.
Spoiler:

If you don't play Dark Souls, I'll swallow your... SOUL!

Being a successful influencer (including Instagramer, Youtuber, streamer...) is a real-life cheat code.

I dare you trying to steal my soul! D:

Disagree, because a cheat code you just need to type in in order for it to work. But becoming an influencer who's also successful is anything but. It's really just a small minority and as more and more people get interested in it it just becomes harder and harder to break through.
There are no cheat codes in life except "being rich" which gives you everything and then some. <_<

Disagree, I don't find the two things to be related tbh, at least from my experience. Enjoyed food a lot alone and also in company, just like the opposite. If the meaning is not literal and then it's about "sharing a meal with other people" then I probably agree, depends on my mood lol.

Empirically it really feels like the worst people can get away with bad things and even if they are caught they can still continue. Especially when you have a lot of power in the first place. But don't you dare be just a random person with no actual power or even worse: poor. In that case people will destroy you!
But yeah: generally agree

Even if you don't want to be alone that's still no guarantee that you may not end up being alone throughout your life.
