pfffff, these arent sprites at tall, they don't have shading, outline or anatomy, they're far too big to fit on a ga,eboy screen, and wouldn't generally fit into a megadrive(genisis) or SNES screen either, these are, and this is been nice, art...not pixel art, not sprites, ART, that you do in primary school

this is more like SPAM

Edit: Dammit Erica! XD
I know, her and Claire always seem to pop in right as your about to handle the situation. Darn poachers!

Well this isnt spam how could it be spam?
and these are just my first ones i made!
Don't worry Tyler, it's not spam. For it to be spam it'd have to apply to all four categories below:
Stupid - Sure, maybe the thread is a bit stupid.
Pointless - It's not pointless since the point of the thread was to show your ART off..
Annoying - I can see people being annoyed by this thread, lol.
Message - Duh

See, since it wasn't totally pointless, it wasn't spam. It was however very n00bie-like. =D

Also, I think your not quite understanding what spriting is... Spriting is the creation of an image pixel by pixel (pixel art), not quickly drawn with strokes. Hence, your images are not sprites and therefore do not belong in HotS. Understand?

These might qualify as sprites if we were all on LSD, but seeing as that is not the case, no these are definately sprites. ROFL...you are a 13 year old creating about 5 year old art...

Thats a little harsh guys, I thought constructive crits where the only crit welcomed?

Anyway. Those are okay for a start but Sprites belong in the Home of the Sprites if they where used with real or fake pokemon and pokemon trainer spires in a game boy or other pokemon icon look. These are drawings for a fact and they do deserve some kind of shape and shading. However I think the main thing you need is a little research on what a Sprite is befor you post saying that they are .

It's a disapointment and a anger to people like some above to think that they where going to look at sprites and end up looking at a new artists works. Try to give more information with your work befor you post much more and let people know how skilled you are in sertan kinds of drawings.

And you would have tallent for art if you work hard at it. o.O I didint become like I have in a week lol(Is playing around with you friendly'n' not flaming)
If it doesint bring you alot of joy to draw and you feel rushed it's possibly not for you ^^ but if you gave fun doing it then I suggest some t00ts on things like shading lines and Painting programs.
Good luck in future work but be careful on how you word things kk ^^?
Yeah I'm back.. And this sig is a WiP inspired by nicola's old one.

It looks like you just used a pencil tool to pull this off. No one ever tries that. To make sprites I usually just reconstruct a ready-made sprite. As seen in my signature, nothing was drawn with a pencil tool at 1x magnification, but drawn at 8x magnification with a variety of tools and the help of ready-made sprites.

By the way, Freenaturearts, talent and work are not the same thing. The usage of the word, "talent" is unnecessary in this forum because it is something that only certain people have, and we do not need our members being judged so discriminatorily. The word you are thinking of is "skill." Anyone can manage a speech-worthy masterpiece with enough skill, but talent is a gift. Those with talent will have the stunningly creative ideas and will require less work to manage what others have been striving for. It seems to me that you, above all, need to be careful how you word things.
