Alright maybe PC should have trials, and yes by trials i mean like a court trial. This is mainly for the people on the verge of getting banned,it should be made so that the entire PC can decide weather or not he/she should be banned, yes i know thats what the higher staff is for but this is a community right? And as a community isnt everyone supposed to work together?

I could understand not having one for the spammer that appeared in the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald section, but for a member thats been here for maybe five or more months.Just like a regular court, the person will be judged by his peers (Or the people at PC).He/She should be notified maybe a week or so before the actualy date.

User you are required to attended PC Court (Yes a nice name ^^) to decide weather to be banned or given another chance. If you continue to do the actions that caused this trial then there will be no need for the trial you will be automatically banned.

This is just suggestion.

I can see what you're getting at here, which is why I must draw the line. Internet =/= real world. In the real world, you have people commiting serious offences and then being sent to court for it before being sentenced to jail. On the Internet, you have people spamming and throwing insults around. That's hardly anywhere near worth the time/effort that would be put into a court system, if implemented. ^^; I do like your perspective, chu, but there are numerous flaws in your idea and I can't really see it working out~

this would be very controversial and mods would lose a lot of power/influence. i'm not sure if it's a good idea. power should be left to our staff, not to a biased pannel of jury members who could be paid off with rep or sprite requests. i'd be for it if there was a high staff member (maybe titled "Honorable Judge" or something) who decided the ultimate fate, but i don't think PC jury duty is a good idea... if this does go through, i'd be happy to be an attourney for any of those who "can't afford an attourney one will be provided to you."

*applauds* Nicely said...that is way too much work to have a whole court worked out for PC...quick banning is much easier XD...
It is a nice idea, however, it won't be happening. People can be influenced way to easily, especially in this era of PC. >> So, like rsgh5 said, these people could be bribed very easily. I know there's a possibility that mods could be bribed, but I'm sure they were cosen because they aren't that stupid... I'm hoping anyways, XD
Just too many things could and would go wrong ig this was used.

it was a good suggestion especially in light of recent banning disputes... *looks around nervously...* (for those who don't know i kinda argued a bit about a banning *TOXIC SHAME!*) i think it would be fun even if it wouldn't be useful. maybe we could have like a mock trial. a lot of schools have mock trials for fun. that could be pretty popular. i'd do it if somebody organized it. i'd be defendent, attourney, bailiff, jourey, judge, or w/e.

It seems fair.

Well like i stated in my first post this is a Community,so everyone should have a say in it.I would understand members that have just arrived not to participate in it but members that have been here for couple of months or maybe even a year. They should have a pretty good understanding of the rules of PC by then.

Fair idea but, hehe...no, it wouldn't work...

If someone was getting banned, they could just parade 20 of their buddies to keep em on. And do you think all of PC would care about a member being banned? We ban people once every 4-5 days, or more! You think members wanna have a court hearing all the time?

It's just a simple message board, so we need simple ways of doing things. Break the rules...get a warning, keep doing it, you get a threat, keep doing it, and your banned...

Easy! I like you're thinking though!

Like everyone said it is a good idea, but also as stated, no it wouldn't work. But as a game, like with Pokemon Survivor games, mock trials could be made up as a game of sorts. Like rsgh5 said I think it'd be pretty popular. ^_^

Spoiler:
Thought you'd see something interesting here, didn't ya? :D

Finally Alyssa spoke again, her eyes locked on the ball in my hand. “That isn’t an ordinary Pokeball. We call it the Soul Ball. The Pokemon inside it is very special. It represents who and what you are at the very deepest level. It is essentially your soul in physical form.”

“My soul,” I whispered, awe struck. “So that’s what you meant by my ‘soul companion’.”
