I think Advance Wars is fun, yet pointless. Why would Intelligent Systems bother to make a second strategy RPG series when they already had Fire Emblem? Yes, there are some differences in the gameplay, but they're still way too similar.

Personally I like AW better. I do enjoy fire emblem, but so many games have simlar game play now days its not that big of a deal. Plus if they were going to do that they would have released FE in America for GBA before AW. Anyways there both great games, just enjoy em.

Oh yes, Advance Wars is a great series, I just can't understand why they made it instead of just translating Fire Emlbem from the start. What I enjoy about it is that you can be much more reckless with your units since you can always buy more; in Fire Emblem there's a limited number and once they're defeated they're gone forever.
