I have an idea for the forum. On my own forum, I built a flame war board for people to flame each other w/out clogging the other forums with flaming. The title of a flame war post would be the member name of the person you wish to flame. To reply to a flame, you start a new thread or use an already existing one with your flamer's name as the title to flame back.

yeah.. we REALLY don't want PC to be a place to flame.. it goes against what we believe PC stands for and the whole Pokemon scene of friendship and so on.

D: Flamming is a BAD thing...PC can have it's flamming scenes, but that's nothing we want to show newbies about PC o.o A flame forum would just look like we all hate eachother and we have such a problem with it we have to contain it. I wouldn't want to join a forum like that. It might also give newbies a prejudice against some members because of what others said about them. Poor emos would also probably feel horrible about themselves o.o;
Flamming can just be stated to a person through a PM I guess. Less openly while still knowing that one member has an issue about you.

*Pokemon scene of friendship? X3 I think it's just being sugarcoated.

I only thought it would cause people to not clutter the entire forum with flames, but only flame in designated areas.

You know, it's not like flaming is spam.

It's just a horrible and dreadful thing, that, as everyone said above, shouldn't be encouraged. Do you really want members coming here, getting the hell flamed out of them, and then they leave in a huff? Do you want that to happen to your forum, too? =/ We punish flamers, no matter where they flame, not give them a reason to flame.

Flaming ish evil~ PC isn't cluttered with flames as you imply, because they're against the rules~ I should know, I've flamed enough people in my time~

"One reason why mathematics enjoys special esteem, above all other sciences, is that its laws are absolutely certain and indisputable, while those of other sciences are to some extent debatable and in constant danger of being overthrown by newly discovered facts."
Albert Einstein

"What science can there be more noble, more excellent, more useful for men, more admirably high and demonstrative than mathematics."
Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."
Bertrand Russell
