Dragon also has only 2 weaknesses. They can learn almost every type of attack...

That's why it is wise to teach one a fire attack.

Dragon. It defend well again some element attack (grass, water, electric, fire) Its only weak to ice and dragon itself. Yeah it's true that dragon weak to ice (there are a lot of water pokemon and they can learn ice type attack) especially dragon flying/ground, but they really make good combination with water (Kingdra). It only weak to dragon.

The dragon type attack only weak to steel type. Dragon type pokemon also can learn many type attack.

Water is the strongest type. Only 2 weaknesses, both Special, plus lots of options. And Surf. Surf is for special what Earthquake is for physical (well, almost)

Dragon would be the second, having some useful strengths, weaknesses only to Ice and Dragon. Plus Dragon attacks (i.e., Dragon Claw) are (is) very good.

Normal is almost undoubtedly the best. Only weak to Fighting, usually have great attack to pull off a STABed Return, and can just do a variety of things. Look at Blissey, Snorlax, Slaking, Zangoose, and Miltank for example. However, my favorite type is Dark, for some odd reason....

Either normal or dragon. Dragon attacks are very powerful, and dragon Pokemon usually end up really strong if you train them. Normal is nice, since it has no weaknesses. There is also a truckload of great normal type moves, like Dizzy Punch and Double-edge. Double Team is also very useful in tight spaces.
Why do I float up to that sky, like the winds and clouds
Without wings, why...? I sink into that night which engulfs all... Like a star, like the moon, without wings, ah...

Dragon moves:
Dragon Claw - Phailure
Dragonbreath - Phailure
HP Dragon - wtf
Outrage - no

Normal types do have a weakness; Fighting. Sure most normal type moves are good, but I'm sure Dizzy Punch is one of the latter. Double Team is just a sign that people that use it outside of the game should commit suicide.

People use Fire-type Pokmon more than you think, EvilDunspace...

I like Electric Pokmon. They're amongst the fastest out there, and, like Normal types, Electric Pokmon only have one weakness (and that's Ground). Unlike Normal types, Electric attacks are also effective against others. Unfortunately, most Electric types have relatively weak Defense to compansate for their high Speed and Sp. Attack.

Heck, I like Electrics so much, I'm trying to create the strongest Pikachu there is. (I think I found out how to make one learn Surf once again...)

And I really never did like Normal types. Sure, their attacks work on all but three types, but Normal types never did have good stats. Normal attacks are good, but if you want to knock out an opponent in one or two turns, you'd have to use something that's super effective (with exception to Selfdestruct and Explosion, of course.) Double-edge hurts, but is unlikely to knock out Pokmon whose Defense is high.
In the morning when you wake up, Open your eyes to a new day.
Look around at the gifts you've got. You've been so lucky along the way.
Time to finish what you've begun. Have the faith, you're the one.
Throw your hat high - up to the sun.

Now you face your greatest test. Use the lessons that you've learned.
Your goal is to be the best, And claim the prize that you've earned.
Ever since you were a young man, You've kept your eye on the master plan.
To reach for the top - and touch the sky.

It's your destiny,
To spread your wings and fly.
