it's level 90, so it gets all the moves it will ever learn. I suggest Roar, Rapid Spin, Surf, and Ice Beam. or Yawn+Focus Punch over the latter two, yawnpunching is cool ingame.

Yawnpunching is good but in case you don't want that then I go for sleeping death. Put them to sleep and then attack away or change to something better. Mirrow Coat is good becasue he has a high sq defense and if you predict rigth you be able to do major damage back.

The funny thing about temporary is that you never know if it is actually temporary or permanent.

I don't like mirror coating, its predictable and you couldget DD,CM, SD, or some other stuff.

Um, I'd like to start positively, so....

Surf is a good move on Blastoise :D

And now, for the rest....

Hydro Cannon is not good. Its a Water-type Hyper Beam. During the recharge, someone could easily bring in a Grass or Electric type, frying you. Same with Skull Bash, unfortunately. And anyways, Pokemon should really only have one move of each type, so 3 water attacks wouldn't be wise.

Blastoise would be good with Ice Beam, actually. Also, he is one of the few Pokemon who can learn Mirror Coat and Counter, a lethal combination if you ask me.

surf is really the only thing standard, wit ice beam being the next best thing. The rest of Blastoise's attacks come in variety, making it a little tough to make a moveset decisions, but ya, all the previously mentioned stuff before is all good. I personally like Rapid Spin myself.

blastoise almost has a broken movepool actually. it has one of the best support movepools in the game. rapid spin, haze, yawn, roar, mirror coat, counter, rest, withdraw, seismic toss...

well rapid spin is more for netbattle since not many people use spikes/leech seed ingame.

i like these movesets

surf
yawn/haze
focus punch/mirror coat
rapid spin/ice beam

rapid spin to get rid of those annoying leech seeds and spikes, but considering some teams laugh in the face of spikers ice beam is a great alternative. ice beams drop salamence like they're hot.

mirror coat can work considering blastoise gets tbolt a lot. i prefer yawn punching though. blastoise's ability to yawn as a pseudohazer, yawn-punch, and rapid spin/ice beam makes it a very unique pokemon. milotic, swamperts, starmie, and vaporeon seem to get the nod as the water pokemon of choice, but i like what blastoise brings to the table.
