I was just on PPN looking for blanks when I saw that Snorlax was their Pokemon of the day. I clicked on it and had a nice good laugh at the recommended moveset and strategy :P :

Best Moveset

Hyper Beam
Blizzard
Snore
Rest

Strategy

Use hyper beam for almost any pokemon, just like blizzard if your hp is almost empty then use rest, afther that use snore, it will either use Blizzard Or Hyper Beam

Sorry if this offends anyone...but its pretty funny.

Snore is an attack in its own right. I think it can cause Flinch. Sleep Talk is the one that uses either Blizzard or Hyper Beam.
But anyway, its OK in-game but it sucks on NB.

It sucks period. Snore is pointless, as lax is too slow to make anything flinch. And sleep talk in this case is dumb, as it has no good moves. They should show the GOOD stalkerlax instead.

This is a horrible set for any snorlax. Snore is good but Sleeptalk is better a bit. Unless you use Chesto Berry then it pointless. Sleeptalk to use a better move. Earthquake? Then you just should not teach it rest and go all attack.

Anybody think they could do better or worst?

The funny thing about temporary is that you never know if it is actually temporary or permanent.

You mean himself... none of the staff are really affiliated with PPN besides PPNSteve himself.

And yeah... PPN really needs to hire a good moveset rater... I'm a novice in Netbattling and that thing gives me the irks... >>

Snore = phailure. Period. Leftovers > Chesto. Period. And Rest just owns on Snorlax.

Btw, morlord forums and my forums offer some good pokemon analysis as well.

Serebii's movesets are ok at the most, but like Pax said, go to smogon.

Serebii is good for some info, but it doesn't exactly give out some of the best strategies in the world. In fact, I saw Serebii him/herself using HAIPAR BEEM Tyranitar.

Serebii gives good info about moves and such, and I write my own movesets so their sets do not matter. BTW do they use Reflect Espy or CM Espy?

Neither. They use Sunny Day Espy:
Sunny Day
HP Fire
Psychic
Morning Sun

This is one of the many reasons you don't use serebii for moveset reccommendations.
