I think this should go in GB strategies and movesets... Well anyway, I don't know why, but my favourite double battle combo was fearow and sunflora o_O Fearow uses sunny day on the first team and sunflora gets to sweep with solarbeam and clorophyll...

My general Team I prefer to use in tag battles Is Eevee and Registell, Personal Reasons, but I still kick but with both of them ^_^;; and that eevee is lvl 100 helps alot ;; though Its a new Registell at lvl 50 -.O;; I need to re-raise it because I raised the wrong one up xD!

What the best team of two Pokemon?

sure there are the obvious ones, like PLUSLE and MINUN, but what are some other favorite combos you like to use?
lol, Plusle + Minun = phailure. They need each other just to have the same sp. atk as Light Ball Pikachu iirc. Best I've seen anything with Dusclops wielding Protect and Imprison.

If you consider the double battle team as an image, and not as a tactic, any Pokemon you like seems to make a cool team... for example, Plusle and Minun being a great image for a tag team. (Which of course, in battle doesn't work).

Personally, I like Gardevoir + Blaziken, like seen in some fanart...

Well, that all depends...

Just to point out, Plusle and Minun will NOT have the same Sp. Attack as Pikachu with a Light Ball when those two are together. I think their Sp. Attack only is multiplied by 1.5, not by 2.

Because both Pokmon are some of the faster Pokmon out there (probably faster than Pikachu), they have a chance to dish out some crazy attacks before going down. I remember in Colosseum I had a tough time beating a Plusle and Minun team. (The fact that most of my Pokmon were weak against Ice didn't help...)

Either they could buff themselves up and then switch to a different team with Baton Pass, or one will use Rain Dance, and the other Thunder. Considering that both are Electric types, Thunder is 1.5 times stronger. For those who are resistant/immune to Thunder (Dragon, Grass, Ground), one or both could have Hidden Power which would be stronger against those types (Ice, Water) If needed, they could use Helping Hand, especially to attack those who love using Earthquake. Being so fast, not many Pokmon can outrun them.

But enough about them! I like using Flygon and Groudon together since both can know Earthquake, Fire Blast, and Solar Beam. (This team had to be continually recalled just to take on said Plusle and Minun team...) But since I know this isn't a good type matchup, I'm gonna have to figure out a better team that involves Starmie...

Look around at the gifts you've got. You've been so lucky along the way.
Time to finish what you've begun. Have the faith, you're the one.
Throw your hat high - up to the sun.

Now you face your greatest test. Use the lessons that you've learned.
Your goal is to be the best, And claim the prize that you've earned.
Ever since you were a young man, You've kept your eye on the master plan.
To reach for the top - and touch the sky.

It's your destiny,
To spread your wings and fly.

Blastoise and Swampert.
They're both water type I know, but they can cover eachother's weakness. Super Strong Ice-Beam kills Grass types, while Earthquake, Electric. Job done.

Manectric and Gyarados.Electric does nothing to Gyarados thanks to Manectric's Lightningrod but when Gyarados uses Rain Dance Thunder/Thunderbolt never misses.Plus Gyarados has good Attack and Special Defence while Manectric has good Special Attack and Speed. It never failed for me.

I have a few teams that I switch up. I'll list them in order of who I like to use most.

1. Blaziken and Aggron
2. Solrock and Gardevoir
3. Sandslash and Blaziken

Those are three I like using most. Im sure there are better, but those work fine for me.
