I can tell you that the old GB pokemon games are the best but the new has better graphics and sound (GBA). We have now only the remake of green, red, green and blue version (FireRed and LeafGreen). I like a remake of gold, silver, crystal and the best the yellow version!:bandit:

Smarties-chan

Should've had that name change

Even though I own pokemon Ruby, Firered (getting emerald this week) Pokemon red, blue, yellow, gold, silver and crystal haven't lost what makes them so interesting. I don't know why, but for some reason I like some pokemon Red/Blue musics better than the revamped ones, and there's something fascinating about those old overworld sprites too...

Artisticly, I think they hit it with Silver, myself. I haven't seen the most recent and while I don't mind the sprites of R/S, the older ones have that nostaglia feel to them and plus the innovation of the premise, heightens the effect. It's the kitsch of the old sprites, quite NES.

And the last days of GB. Also quite NES with the ending of the last best systems there is.
