Btw, I treid it out. Lose quite badly to a ludi and skarm bliss, and once a belly drummer.
Also, Lanturn's amd Gyrados's EVs are abit out.... and Swampert cannot counter a hp grass if it gets knocked out in one hit. Cloyster also has too little hp and i sweak to fighting and rock, making it a mediocore P tank, much like a lousy Foretress.
Starmie loses naturally to Ludicolo and Blissey. That can't be helped.

Swampert Counters Modest Zapdos HP Grasses with those EVs and with a good amount of health left. I know from experience.

Cloyster is good when used correctly. Bring it in on Salamence to force a switch or Skarmory/Forretress to get rid of spikes. You aren't supposed to leave it in on Super Effective attacks ._.

Mm...okay, I'll give it a go.

I'm looking for a well-rounded Battle Frontier team (Emerald) based around Swampert or Starmie (essentially whichever is the better of the two bulky waters for use on all 7 Frontier spots, though I'd prefer Starmie.)

If you can't cover all 7 Frontier spots, then just a team that will cover the most safely, but still based around Swampert/Starmie.

Note: Pokemon access extends to all 386 Pokemon. Not entirely important because legendaries aren't usable, but meh.

Thanks in advance.

Legendaries are usable. Certain ones are banned.

Starmie @ Petaya Berry
Trait: Natural Cure
Timid or Modest Nature
- Surf / Psychic
- Ice Beam / Psychic
- Thunderbolt / Psychic
- Recover

Salamence @ Lum Berry
Trait: Intimidate
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Rock Slide

I'd waste the last slot on either:

Rhydon @ Leftovers
Trait: Rock Head
Adamant or Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Megahorn / Double-Edge
- Swords Dance / Counter

or:

Steelix @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy / Rock Head
Adamant or Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Explosion / Double-Edge
- Rock Slide
- Iron Tail / Double-Edge

Hey Guys...
I need a team for Emerald... I need to beat the E4 with it so i can get the national dex, then i have a team planned (Gengar/Milotic/Charizard for now, but might change) so i need a team. I have access to almost all the R/S/E pokemon, minus some legendaries and maybe a starter or two, not sure on what my brother has.
I'm only at the 3rd Gym, so i can't really do pokemon who are way to high or whatever, i need to be able to use them kinda quick, and I have limited access to EV training (I don't want them to suck too bad, even though they'll be sacked).
I currently have Koffing, Blaziken, Ludiocolo, and a Guardivour which i used at some point, so if it can use those guys, that'd be great. Also, where can I train attack EVs thats towards the beginning of the game (I can't do Caravana yet) and i don't want to get too many crappy EVs.

Thanks a ton!

I've got an uncompleted team, and I need ideas to finish it. It will be for D/P, just in case.

-------------------------------------------
[email protected] Glasses
Levitate
Nature: +Sp. Atk -Atk
EP: HP 48 / Sp Atk 252 / Speed 208
Moves:
Discharge
Shadow Ball
Confuse Ray
Double Team

[email protected]'s Rock
Serene Grace
Nature: +Speed -Atk
EP: Speed 252 / Sp. Atk 252 / Sp. Def 4
Moves:
Air Slash
Feather Rest
Scheme
Thunder Wave-For guys with a lot of speed

[email protected] Band
Pressure
Nature: +Atk -Sp. Atk
EP: Attack 252 / Speed 252 / Sp. Def 4
Moves:
Blade Test
Ice Punch
Swords Dance
Screech-I may change it as it's the same as Swords Dance

[email protected] Scarf
Adaptive
Nature: +Sp. Atk -Atk
EP: HP 4 /Sp. Atk 252 / Speed 252
Moves:
Tri Attack
Hyper Beam-Just in case
Scheme
Recover

[email protected] Strip
Synchronize
Nature: +Sp. Def -Atk
EP: HP 170 / Def 170 / Sp. Def 168
Moves:
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Protect
Rest

[Empty slot]

-------------------------------------------

Umbreon
Umbreon is in development. I use toxic and protect, then confuse ray and protect and rest if it's dying. It lacks something that does damage. The only thing I can do with it is wait for the foe to die. It supposed to be a tank, but I can't think of a better moveset. I need help with its moves and strategy.

Empty slot
It thought empty slot could be a Blissey with Aromatherapy and Softboiled. Some would say I also need a hazer (there are lots of BPers nowadays)

Not to sound like a noob, but I think a Pokémon without the ability to kill another one isn't worth a slot in a team. If it could be a hazer and heal beller apart from having a more "normal" moveset, it might be worth. I just dont know. You may have better ideas for my empty slot.

Thanks in advance.

To be honest, this is not really a rating thread, unless you're rating a team that has been requested.

I'm not asking for my team to be rated. I'm asking for help in the empty slot and with Umbreon. Asking people to fill gaps IS allowed here.

Rating pretty much includes asking for help with teams iirc. I never said it wasn't allowed, it just messes up the flow of requesting teams imho.

Ok. I have created a thread asking for help to avoid any problem here.

I need a team that uses my personal favorites in the best way possible. I have more than six favorites.

These are them:
Gengar
Dragonite
Forretress
Skarmory
Blaziken
Gardevoir
Areodactyl
Steelix
Nidoking
Venusaur
Jolteon
Zapdos
Raikou
Areodactyl
Ampharos
Heracross
Blastoise

What I'd like is a team of any six of these Pokemon that is as good as possible, filling as many spots as needed. (Cleric, P/hazer and so on) I'm not feeling anywhere near creative enough to try it myself and I probably couldn't do it right. =P
I have the lineup I used in my sig and it didn't work out too well.

Pretty tough, considering that most of these guys can't confidentally switch in on Regice, But I'll see what I can do.

I'd like a team of anything that works, just no Ubers.

I do want this to be for Net Battle, but since I'd also like to make in Ingame, if there is a Pokemon that I can't get in Emerald, then I'd like the best replacement. For example:

Pokemon @ Item
Nature
EVs
- Move
- Move
- Move
- Move

=== Replacement for (Pokemon) ===
Pokemon @ Item
Nature
EVs
- Move
- Move
- Move
- Move
=== Replacement for (Pokemon) ===

So yea. Thanks alot to anyone who can help.

Thanks man. :) Blissey's fine. I did take quite a liking to it after using it, so I guess it's become another favorite. I was using a Heal Bell Dragonite as the cleric til now.
I shall nickname them and test it out.
Even if I wanted you to redo, and even though you told me it only took you five minutes, my naggy little concience wouldn't let me ask you to. =P

Hi, I'd like to request a D/P Wi-Fi team that includes Yonowaaru, and I'd like EV spreads and everything.

Thanks in advance!

Besides the fact that I think any cartridges of D/P should burn in a large fire, I must express that, while I cannot deny anyone the freedom of requesting/posting future D/P teams, seeing as the system for IVs, EVs, or even Natures and Damage Calculation has not been confirmed, it might not be the "wisest" to completely speculate D/P teams. Not a rant, just an FYI.

Ok, well I guess my extra request got me messed up, so I'll redo it.

Team for Netbattle, Standard Play (OU), No Ubers, Involves Little to No Prediction, Does Not Take a High Skill Level To Play Successfully (I'm Still Getting Used To Alot of Stuff)

I kind of want it to be able to criple whatever is thrown at it. Like a WoWer for Physical Sweepers, a Special Sponge for Special Sweepers, etc.... I dunno. Just something that works.

heres my team.. lil crit would do me some good:

Raichu (F) @ nothing yet, need ideas
Trait: Static
Evs: Spd: 255; Atk: 127; Sp. Atk: 127
Naughty nature (cant remember what stats)
- Quick Attack
- Swords Dance
- Thunderbolt
- Double Team

Sandslash (F) @ nothing again
Trait: sand veil
Evs: Def: 150; Atk: 150; Spd: 210
Timid Nature
- Slash
- Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack

Blastoise (M) @ nothing....
Trait: Torrent
Evs: Sp. Def: 200; Def: 200; Sp. Atk: 110
Bold nature
- Hydro Pump
- Withdraw
- Hyper Beam
- Water Pulse

crit and cmnt would help!

Eh... I don't like the moves. I'm not really that fond of Riachu, but swords dance? All it powers up is... quick attack... which is way to weak to power up anyway. Isn't Riachu a pretty fast pokemon already? Does he quite need he quick attack? Either way, i don't like SD, maybe change it for something else so sack him all together... Maybe move some of the EVs from attack into spec attack and get him another non elec spec attack. Or sack him for like a defensive guy, or Bliss.

Sandslash (F) @ nothing again
Trait: sand veil
Evs: Def: 150; Atk: 150; Spd: 210
Timid Nature
- Slash
- Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack - Earthquake

Much better use of SD here. Try to get something like whatever type he is for the STAB (maybe sack quick attack, its pretty weak) for earthquake. The STAB will really help out.

Blastoise (M) @ nothing....
Trait: Torrent
Evs: Sp. Def: 200; Def: 200; Sp. Atk: 110
Bold nature
- Hydro Pump - Surf Maybe
- Withdraw
- Hyper Beam - Sack for something...
- Water Pulse - Ice Beam
Sack waterpulse for ice beam, and sack Hyperbeam for something else. I'd take surf over HydroPump as its more reliable, but thats really up to you. You don't need two water type attacks, and ice beam should help out a ton with dragons and grass pokes. Hyper beam just isn't too good, IMO. The one turn loss is kinda rough, and blastoise has a Bold nature, lowering his attack, so he can't really do much with it. Maybe Surf/Icebeam/Rest/SleepTalk for extra recovery since hes going def.
crit and cmnt would help!
Different color to make it easier to see my changes.
I don't mean to be too harsh if it seems like i am.
Good team, I just don't like the Riachu, and some of the moves need a little work. I didn't really look at the EVs too much, i'm not too good with them. Hope that helps!

but yeah.. that really helps, one question, what does sleeptalk do anyway?
