I have, I have you breathing down my neck, breathing down my neck
I don't, don't know what you could possibly expect under this condition so
I'll wait, I'll wait for the ambulance to come, ambulance to come
Pick us up off the floor what did you possibily expect under this condition so
Slow down, this nights a perfect shade of
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning and burning down
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning 'til there's nothing but dark blue
Just dark blue
And this flood, this flood is slowly rising up, swallowing the ground
Beneath, my feet. Tell me how anybody thinks under this condition so
I'll swim, I'll swim as the water rises up sun is sinking down and now
All I can see are the planets in a row suggesting it's best that I slow down this nights a perfect shade of
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning and burning down
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning dark blue

10. Where The Streets Have No Name by U2
-One of my quintessential favorites. It has "unforgettable" written all over it. Starts out with an organ, really slow. And then fade in with Edge's signature guitar appregio. It comes nearer and nearer as every second comes by and then it hits you with the drums and the whole song is just majestic. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful guitar riffs, bass and drums are in perfect coordination and it ends perfectly with texture, as if you can feel the sounds in the tip of your fingers or taste it in your mouth.

9. All I Want Is You by U2
-Powerful love song. Starts out really low and slow and towards the end, the solo just leaves you breathless. The solo is very relentless and yet so simple. One of my favorite love songs from U2 and clearly one of their best songs in the 80s. Simple lyrics but very powerful guitar and sounds.

8. Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie
-Who could hate this song? The song that's been ripped off by some white rapper, the song that's been covered by bands today. But they're nothing compared to the original. Very awesome bass line and very poweful lyrics and singing. David Bowie and Freddie Mercury are just the best collaborators of all time.

7. Red Rain by The White Stripes / Like A Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan
-A tie between the two...
Red Rain has very simplistic lyrics but very powerful harmonics and powerful sounds. Like A Rolling Stone has very powerful and very impressive lyrics and has a great sound.

6. Paranoid by Black Sabbath
-Black Sabbath's trademark low key guitar is present, except that instead of heavy and slow sluggish metal like their other songs, this is heavy and quick metal that's about to be bashed into your head. Very nice lyrics and a very demented song.

5. Kashmir by Led Zeppelin
-Led Zeppelin, nuff said.

4. Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana
-My favorite Nirvana song from my favorite Nirvana album. Slow and creeping and very demented lyrics but then hits you with distortion and it just clashes with your brain. You feel brooding whenever you hear this song.

3. The Fly by U2
-A take on U2 with distortion. Unlike any U2 song before and after this, this is a self-****ation song with a very demented message of the hypocrisy and horrible truths of the world. All of the failures and victories are all but misfortunes of everyday life. The prevalance of irony and sarcasm is all over the album and not to mention it has a very chilling and awesome solo that's ramming you and hitting you all over the place and you didn't even realize that it's a U2 song. People who hear this the first time don't know that it's a U2 song.

2. Everlong by Foo Fighters
-Memorable and heartfelt lyrics. Powerful guitar and near perfect bass and drum coordination. Really touching in a way and my all time favorite love song.

1. Ultraviolet (Light My Way) by U2
-My Favorite song ever. All I could say is that this song is almost perfect. But hey, I haven't heard a perfect song but this comes close. Like Streets, it has a powerful and texturized guitar sound. It's almost you're actually seeing fragments of light emitting from the sound and the bass is just so wonderful in this song. Simplistic but very profound. The drums are being hit like crazy and the lyrics are just so heartfelt and the paradox of the song still unclear as the love between the two characters in the song.
