A/N: Just another one of my writing 'doodles'. Er...the names Martel and Zelos were used out of creative image block, and really have nothing to do with the actual TOS characters. K? K. Now enjoy. ^O^

    Just for You

"Parry, who was on the phone?"
"It wasn't Zephyr," The small blonde replied harshly.
"I know it wasn't. Don't act so ho-hum, Pa-Ouch! Please watch where you put the pens, Colette…" The seamstress withdrew the pen from the wedding dress.
If only you would stay still Ms. Martel…" Martel sighed and looked back into the three-sided mirror, admiring her dress that she decided to wear for the most important event of her life. Parry snorted. Just watching her made him sick. Of all the people in the world she had to pick-
"Zephyr will be so surprised when I tell him that we've scheduled to have doves released! You know you love birds too." Martel said in her sing-songy voice. Parry began to peruse through the magazines in the fitting room.
"Marriage Monthly says siblings know best about who's compatible with their sisters," he stated blankly.
"Not when there's a fifteen year difference between the two,"
    "Well Weddings Weekly says-"
Martel turned to face her brother and shouted, "Parry! I don't care if you like him or not. It's not your wedding! When you're 27 then you can-"
"Ms. Martel! Please stand still! This will only take longer if you squirm…" Martel sighed and faced the mirror again.
"Be positive for me tomorrow, please Parry?" Parry set the magazine in front of his face, hiding from his sister's hypnotic sapphire eyes; they seemed to pierce through the paper.
"I'll try…" He sighed. That was a lie.

"From now on, you will refer to me as Zelos your older brother," The red-head commented on his bike. Parry sighed and pedaled harder on his own bicycle. Zelos was older than him by a year and the fact of him about to be considered as his brother-in-law and also his best friend was getting extremely annoying.
    "I'm your brother-in-law too,"
    "But I'm older,"
Once at the field, Zelos took out his tennis ball and they began a game of catch.
"Zelos, do you think your brother and Martel are meant for each other?"
"How should I know? I'm just his brother."
    "But Marriage Monthly says-,"
"Are you reading those? How bored are you?"
"You're avoiding my question. Do you or do you not?"
"Well if they're going to get married I guess so. Why'd you ask?"
"Well I was just thinking that they don't know each other to well and…"
"What rock have you been under? They've been dating for almost three years! You know what? I think you're jealous Parry." Parry pegged the ball back at him.
    "No I'm not!"
"Uh-huh. You're jealous that your sister isn't thinking about you 24/7 anymore."
    "I just don't think she's happy…"
"Pfft, my brother is the best guy ever. She should be honored to be engaged to him. The reason she's not happy is because you're the one dragging her down." Parry let the ball fly past him.
    "You think so Zelos?"
"I'm guessing. And by the way, Big Bro Zelos. Now go get the ball. I'm hungry."
    *****
The next day, Parry remembered his sister waking up at 4:00 AM. He had been dragged out of bed at six and out the door at seven to the salon. There, Martel met up with the bridesmaids and barked out orders. Aft getting his hair extensively groomed, he was pulled away from his sister who went with one bridesmaid to get the dress while the rest of them went to rehearsal.
Parry had to admit that the scenery where the wedding would take place was absolutely breathtaking. The area was by the vast lake which was surrounded by the splendor of autumn trees. The mountains in the background seemed to set the calm tone surrounding him. It couldn't have been better…unless they were on a cruise or at Disneyworld.
Parry had one a coin toss between Zelos for being the ring bearer and was rushed off to put on his itchy suit and practice. This painstakingly went on until eleven when Zephyr had arrived, shortly followed by Martel. Out of the two of them, to his surprise Zephyr seemed the most stressed. His orange-red hair and piercing blue eyes looked elegant in his stunning black suit, but his 'I've-got-everything-under-control' air seemed to have disappeared.
"Good luck, Parry!" Zelos cheered, carrying a tray of canapés. Parry waved to his friend and got reprimanded by a bridesmaid who then ordered him to brush his hair for the fifth time. He scowled and entered the bathroom in the reception hall; he only had thirty minutes until the wedding. Upon entering the bathroom, he noticed someone else leaning against the side wall. Zephyr. What was he doing here? He was supposed to be outside…Parry then took out his brush and began to rapidly brush his hair. He'd rather be in and out before Zephyr knew he was-
"Hey Parry," Zephyr smiled, fiddling with the rind in his hands.
"Hi," he responded stiffly. In and out…
    "Big day, huh?"
    "Bigger for you,"
"Yeah. Actually, it's a bit overwhelming." he chuckled. Parry glanced over at Zephyr- just glanced. He was still fiddling with the ring. "Actually, I'm not sure if I can go through with this…" Parry looked directly at Zephyr.
"There's only twenty-five minutes left! Why are you thinking of this now?" Zephyr laughed at this.
    "It's a rather large commitment. You wouldn't understand yet…"
"Martel does and she's willing to wake up at four o'clock to do so!"
"And I thought you didn't like me," Zephyr teased. Parry snorted and went back to brushing.
"Well, I don't. I just don't want Martel getting hurt. I mean, she really loves you. You love her right? If you just dump her now I swear I'll…I'll hunt you down and kill you." He said, surprising himself with each word. The 'in-charge' face that Parry had always seemed to hate came back to Zephyr's face.
"That's a big threat coming from someone only up to my waist. Thanks for the pep-talk. Now I'm off to get married to the most beautiful girl in the world; just for you." He winked, ruffling Parry's hair on the way out. Parry growled and began to brush his hair for the sixth time today.

A/N: WHEW! Talk about indenting! @_@ Hope it was satisfactory ^^:
