It doesn’t matter, Grey-Eyed Wolf. Blissey, Snorlax, and Regice have such high Sp. Defense that they resist all Special Attacks. Also, Blissey and Snorlax have no special weaknesses, while Regice is only weak to Fire but its Sp. Defense is so high that even Fire moves won’t do much damage.

I know that, but it would still be handy to use pokemon with movsets that will be super effective against them. Plus grumpig and hypno have some weaknesses

The attacks they use are attacks such as fire blast ice beam thunderbolt and like i dont know. They have no idea of natures, they just give those attacks to any pokemon. Also, wouldnt a skarm work? My pkmn are salamence, blaizeken, mrmime, tyranitar(i might have to replace it because of its sand stream), milotic, and skarmony? Any suggestions>

salamence, tyranitar and milotic should be a great use. dont even bother with skarmory expecially if they're using attacks like that, wont help you at all. if you have access to fire red or leaf green, then hypno is a big must have! another you could use is grumpig since it has a very high special defense. hope this helps

No, Skarm is a must have. If they bring in a Poke with one of those lame moves that aren't 100%, just switch it out to a special wall like Blissey or Snorlax to absorb their attack, if it even hits at all. Grumpig and Hypno just don't compare to Blissey/Snorlax/Regice, but they can help.

What you ALWAYS want to consider on any team you create is a Poke that can handle special attacks (like the aforementioned) and another Poke that can handle physical attacks (Skarmory, Weezing). Surround them with some attackers (physical, special, mixed) and you should be able to blow through your friends rather easily, especially since they use those moves they probably aren't very defensive-minded. Too many trainers think power is everything and I think that has something to do with the weak AI. If GF ever improved that aspect, you wouldn't have such a drastic change in metagame between in-game and competitive battling. When you think of it, they really should be the same.

I think Grey-Eyed Wolf meant that Skarm is only useless against special attacks like Fire Blast and Thunderbolt, not that Skarm is completely useless. However, unless your opponent was really dense, he’ll most likely have some physical attacking Pokemon too, and that’s when you bring in Skarmory. Unless its something like Blaziken, but a Water type takes care of that.
