I am building a party composed of Dark and Ghost-type Pokemon; I also have a Dark/Ghost party on my Emerald Version.
So far I have...
*Umbreon
Toxic
Confuse Ray
Mean Look
Faint Attack/Baton Pass
For the Metal Versions this can work.
*Espeon
Charm
MORNING SUN
Psychic
BITE
There's not as many options in G/S/C as in the third generation games, so you have to make do with what you have. Charm is similar to raising Defense as along as the opponent doesn't switch out. Though Umbreon can make sure of that.
*Tyranitar
EARTHQUAKE
Rock Slide
CRUNCH
Thunderbolt
Man, I wish Sub-Focus Punch was an option in these games. Again, you have to make do with what you have. I guess this is a BOAH Tyranitar for the second generation games.
*Misdreavus
CONFUSE RAY
Hidden Power [Fire]
Psychic
THUNDER
Even in these games you can do better. Psychic is stronger than Psybeam. Hidden Power is available in these games, so use that to your advantage.
*Murkrow
FAINT ATTACK
NIGHT SHADE
PURSUIT
FLY
Nope. Murkrow is a Pokemon I'm not willing to waste time on.
*Sneasel
QUICK ATTACK
Beat Up
Hidden Power [Flying]
Return
You can do better. Just take a look at what the set should be. Never use special attacks on Sneasel.
I plan on replacing ESPEON with a Ghost-type Pokemon (aside from GENGAR)...
Any ideas? What attacks do you think I should teach it?
REMEMBER: THIS IS POKEMON SILVER VERSION
