iPods are god awful. There's so many reasons to hate it:

- if you drop your iPod, you can say goodbye to it.
- the battery life is horrible; the more you charge it, the quicker the battery will die at full capacity.
- a LOT of the revenue that Apple rakes in is actually due to the amount of money that people spend repairing their iPod.
- the iPod's earphones don't block ambient sound, meaning that you'll need to turn it up really high to block out the outside noise around you... not good on the ears, I can tell you. ;)

That's all I can think of. Basically yeah, iPod sucks. Apple sucks too, but that's a different case all together. I use an iRiver with a decent pair of noise-cancelling earphones. Works for me.

Common Sense, Just be careful with your stuff.

Just replace your earphones. =p....

And like those reasons are not legitmite to hate the iPod. The iPod is alot powerful when you totally install iPod Linux onto the ipod which allows you to use OGG and Flac formats and iPods are crossplatform (which means it works on linux too), unlike others that are totally powered by wma (MS vendor-lock-in format.)

WMA DRM is alot worse than Fair-Play DRM...

-If You Drop Most Electronic Devices Enough Times/Hard Enough, You Can Say Goodbye To Them. I've Personally Dropped My Ipod A Few Times, And It's Fine.
-That's True With A Lot Of Chargeable Electronics. My Friend Had To Buy A New Battery For His Phone Because He Had The Same Probelem.
-That's Common Sence. If You Don't Look After Your Ipod, It Could Break. That's Not Apple's Fault, And It Doesn't Make The Ipod Bad.
-You Don't Have To Use The Earphones That Comes With The Ipod. I Actually Lost Mine So I Had To Get New Ones.. XD

Anyway, Eh.. Let's try Not To Turn This Thread Into An Argument..
