Iron Defense is just way redudant on Metagross. It already has 130 base Defense and tons of physical resistances. Earthquake is way better, especially against those Electric Pokemon who resist Meteor Mash.
Psychic can be good on enemy Weezings and such. But that's about it. Explosion is much preferred, especially when you're up against a tough opponent in the Battle Frontier.

salamence

dragon claw
Aerial Ace
earthquake

Fly stinks. You're basically wasting one turn when you could be attacking. It's not even that accurate. Replace it with Aerial Ace.
Otherwise, this is fine for a mixed sweeper.

shiny crobat
hold item:Choice Band
sludge bomb
steel wing
Shadow Ball
Aerial Ace

People think that Toxic and Confuse Ray are good moves on Crobat, but they're not. If Crobat's defenses were as good as its speed, then they would certainly work. But since that isn't the case, Crobat can't survive long enough for Toxic and Confuse Ray to take full effect.
A Choice Banded Crobat, on the other hand, works wonderfully.

tyranitar
hold item: Leftovers
crunch
rock slide
earth quake
Thunderbolt

Blizzard is hmmm...good against Flygon. That's about it. If you're not going to breed for Dragon Dance, then give it Thunderbolt. T-bolt takes care of Water types that otherwise have enough defenses to survive your other attacks.
Get another Leftovers for him and Machamp. You have unlimited oppurtunities in the Battle Frontier.

machamp
hold item:Leftovers
Rock Slide
substitute
focus punch
cross chop

Save that Earthquake for Metagross. Machamp works much better with Rock Slide since it's weak against Flying types.

houndoom
hold item:Lum Berry
flamethrower
Crunch
sunny day
solarbeam

Why use Faint Attack when you can have the much stronger Crunch?
Anyways, Lum Berry is a much better item than the rather useless Charcoal.
You have way too much attacking, and not enough defending or type coverage. Attacking would be fine if you had a diverse team with relatively few weaknesses. But you don't, because two of your Pokemon are weak to Ice and two are weak to Water.
A strong Water type like Milotic will give you a major hard time. At least get a Water type of your own, or a Grass type like Ludicolo or Sceptile, or a special wall (Blissey, Snorlax, Regice).
