Up north to visit family for Chirstmas and New Years.

Like $60. ;/ Not too bad for Converse.
Well that's nice of ya.

Alot of my family live nearby, cept for some that live overseas. But anywho, I get to see them all pretty regularly.

Hmmm, I think converse here costs +$100.

hehehe I should've made that a bit clearer :P

I have the money already - I just have to withdraw it. But, as you might know, I take my time doing things.

Moreover, my mother doesn't want me to purchase it, so I'll have to convince her of otherwise.
Well, you are 16 (unless I'm mistaken). I think you'd be old, and mature enough to make your own desicians. Which means you can just go and purchase whatever you want without any permissions.

But, maybe it'd be better if you obeyed your mother. XP

Yeah I'm 16 (as it says next to my age :P)

And I don't really need their permission, I just can't be bothered to deal with them :P

The best thing to do now unless people want to spend their lives as orphans.
My mum wouldn't kick me out ... she'd just go on and on about it - I just can' stand her nagging :P

But for some reason, she did offer to buy me the Wii.

If I can get my cash to flow as vibrant as Juice~ does then I'd be purchasing myself something of the sort soon.

Might I ask, what is a "Wii" ?
*mumbles and stutters incoherently*

You don't know what the Wii is?!

...

O_o

It's the next console to be released by Nintendo. It's gonna be awesome.

Well, I'm not what you would call a dedicated gamer, and Nintendo is hardly the company I'd commit to anyway. Not that they don't make great games, they're just ... not my cup of Juice~.

I'm not very fond of the handheld gaming scene, so you'll have to excuse my ingorance on that matter. From the picture I saw in the link, the Wii looks more like a remote control than it does a gaming device.
Got Juice? PC does.

You're excused, cause the device you most likely saw was the controller.

And yes, it is meant to look like a remote, as it's main function is to point it at the screen and ... do stuff :P

I don't think I'll be getting any of the next generation consoles only because none of them really catch my eye.
I believe that for something to catch one's eye, it has too stand out.

To me, the Wii does stand out. And even if it didn't, I'd still purchase it anyway.

I suppose you're right. If the PS3 could create a controller that greatly resembles a bommerang, then the idea of using a remote for a controlpad shouldn't be a foreign one.

Juice~
hehehe that's old man. Sony scrapped that controller to go for a remake of the Dualshock controller without the rumble combined with a hurried ripoff of the Wiimote.

Hehehe, that boomerang was hilarious though.

hmmm, I've never learnt how to throw one either.

Neither have I. Australia has always been one of the top places I want to travel though. Maybe I'll learn when I get there someday. XD

I messed around with bommerang once...smacked myself up good more than a few times.

BTW, ray, remember that YouTube conversation we had last night? Here's more proof of it going down the crapper.

Spoiler:

YouTube deletes 29,549 videos at request of Japanese broadcasters, copyright groups

A total of 29,549 videos were deleted from video streaming site YouTube following a request from copyright-related rights organizations, NHK and other broadcasters, the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) said Friday.

The collective request to delete the videos was made by 23 businesses and organizations. Parties included public broadcaster NHK and private television stations.

YouTube is a site allowing users to freely watch uploaded videos, which include clips from Japanese television programs, but in most cases, permission to post the videos has not been obtained from the copyright holders, and JASRAC and other organizations in Japan view them as a violation of copyright.

Under U.S. law, items are not considered illegal if they are deleted in line with requests, but there are a huge number of videos uploaded on the site, and if the videos are downloaded before they are deleted, the damage can't be prevented.

The aim of the collective request to delete the large number of videos was apparently intended to underline the seriousness of the problem to YouTube. (Mainichi)

Hmm, well there is some technique to it, so unfortunatley you can't just grab one, throw it, and hope it'll come back :P

I remember trying to learn once, and it didn't really work out :P

Why is Australia a place you wanna travel to?
I've wanted to go since third grade. My third grade teacher lived there for a year while her husband worked and she loved it. I've just always though it would be a beautiful, exciting place to travel. XD

I always thought the same about Egypt. My 5th grade teacher went their for the Summer, since we were
all learning about the country in our curriculum. He came back with a load of a neat stuff, including this shiny metal scarab.

I'd like to take a visit someday. Mostly because of a personal interest in curses and pyramids. xD

hehehe, well I myslef haven't even left my state, but there are quite a number of beautiful places. I myself would like to walk throught the rainforest's of Northern Queensland.

However, for some reason Bondi beach is really popular (well actually, it's popularity is declining at the moment). Like, I was working at my uncle's jobsite, and a Korean worker there wanted me to help him phrase a text message to his girlfriend in Korea saying "I wish that you were here with me at Bondi beach"

Then he hugged me >.>

....

The thing is though, he was no where near Bondi, and I doubt that he had even been there yet :P

Well apparently, Koreans hug people for no reason :P

*Knows a person that is not Korean and has hugged many a person for no apparent reason*
It's not really common XD Oh and why the heck would you think I'm of European descent, don't I have the A.Z.N attitude? XDDD
