Well I have posted deck after deck and it has gotten moderate ratings. Saying thats it good but you know stick in your only enemy controller and mirror force and it would be better.
And that its not quite a 10/10 Deck and that it could be just a bit better...

Now there is a local shop I have been going to since PSV came out lol
and I have been loyal to that shop when they had 100+ people coming(more in the Yata days) and I am loyal now when we are excited with 20 people now.
I meet someone at Shenon Jump Boston (named Eric) that use to go during the "good" days and a bit after to my local shop. I haven't seen him in years and he told me he would go to Batter's Up(name of my local shop) in the next few weeks.

Well he showed up this week and told me about a store 30 minutes away from my house that gets 50 people a week and give 16 packs as a first prize =O

So I am planing on going soon... since its a weekly tourney I decided to go when I feel ready for a bigger tourney like that....

Now I decided to really kick my game into high gear... I took all the decks I had and put together the best deck I can... (dont worry about ur other help going to waste... I have the decklists and can put them back togther in a few minutes)

I only count 6 traps...perhaps you forgot to list CotH?

...Go with side deck #1...and you should be good to go.

(I guess our Dark World side wasn't an option, huh? And remember to try for that 2nd EC!)

Treeborn and Call of the Haunted are surprisingly compatible, just because it's not that hard to ensure that the revived monster by call will die in battle and not by exile.

Eh, so not thrilled about the Pot here... Phoenix, DDs and froggy are not going to be picked at all, as they're only going to be removed. The hand is useless as a pot target unless it's the 5th monster and you need the draw power desperately, cause without Phoenix, it's weaker than Sangan even when skill drain is out =P Eh, leaves us with only 75% that's Pot-able, and apprentice toolbox is slow in terms of filling the graveyard compare to the other recruiting engines. Maybe it's more for siding...

Move the Cyber Dragon from side deck to main. It's pretty crucial to have 3 of it in standard decks, and the easier to draw Cyber Dragon the better for Hands, because Cyber Dragon + Hand is automatically Phoenix.

Consider (if possible) Cyber Phoenix over Dekoichi just because this deck blows except for the one old vindicative magician against a lucky early hydroggedon from your opponent. The 1600 def may do a heck of a lot. Plus, it supports Cyber Dragon slightly, and is thematically fire as well =P

Sucks how DDA became staple for this meta again, making Phoenix still a terribly difficult monster to play. Monarch suiciding into Phoenix doesn't make it any better...

Definitely side deck 1, as side deck 2 is beyond slow for this very aggressive and fast paced format.

Revised the deck taking out Widespread and Phoenix

also put in some Warrior Toolbox with LV 2 and Don... I now only use one Apprentice and put in Tomatos to speed it up. And with Tomato comes a Random Stein
Pot is gone because with 23 Monsters I do NOT need to be putting them back in the deck for +1...

I play tested with Phoenix and I seem to ALWAYS get him in my starting hand... so all of a sudden Hands of Nep. becomes a -2

EDIT: and its Side Deck one... just a slight bit revised but still the same as before except with some Geddons'

I would put Pot of Avarice in the side deck.

I don't see much of a use for Apprentice Magician and Old vindictive Magician.

Best for this deck to be a full Tomato Control.
Depends on his style of play... for aggression, go Tomato to gain access to Don Zaloog and Stein. For a more balanced approach, go apprentice magician together with the 2 OVA and the 1 MOF.

(Honestly, I think that Newdoria is weaker than OVA in the context of which one is better if it's special summoned by their respective recruiter... of course it's better to summon in def mode than attack mode if they're both used for defense. But, both of them can stop Hydroggedon, but Newdoria pays 400 LP to do it which isn't much.)

If you got stein already, then having Lily at the same time seems redundant... Personally, the way I see it, is that Lily is a more flexible, less extreme version of Stein. Both of them relies on a direct attack. Both costs LP. Lily's payment comes only when the attack is successful but it's hardly as destructive as stein. Both of them works mostly by the same exiled-will search, so it seems redundant here... Lily is generally used as the "counter-stein" by knocking off heavy LP, and can stall out the Cyber Twin (but sadly not the Cyber End unless you also got rush) if there's no limiter. Since you seem to like Stein more, put Lily away for something else...

However, yeah it seems difficult to use both toolbox at the same time... I'll personally pick tomato too because its synergy is better with your particular sidedeck.

So...

-1 Apprentice Magician
+1 Mystic Tomato

-1 Old Vindicative Magician
+1 Newdoria

-1 Injection Fairy Lily
+1 Newdoria

Also, I will never see Pot of Avarice as a +1 on the basis of using one card (-1) to draw two (+2). If you're recycling monsters, those monsters are all potential +1s because they're usually either recruiters which can generate advantage by calling more monsters, or they will save your sorry butt by recycling powerful topdecking choices when the momentum is not in your favor (Cyber Dragon.) Assigning an advantage number to Pot of Avarice is a terrible injustice for its life saving or further aggressive potential (watch your enemy cry when 3 hydros go back to the deck in mid game.)
