If there are any UU-knowers in the house, please speak up. The rest of you may feel free to shut up. ^_^

Nidoqueen (F) @ Choice Band ** Nidohax
Trait: Poison Point
EVs: 170 HP / 252 Atk / 88 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Sleep Talk
- Sludge Bomb

CB Nidoqueen = the hax. It also stops most common UU leads cold with its bulk.

Wailord (M) @ Leftovers ** Haxlord
Trait: Water Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Def / 96 SAtk / 96 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Roar
- Selfdestruct

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the king of hax. This thing sponges up most attacks with its sheer HP, Roars away random nuisances and goes boom when it's finished. Ice Beam is there to hurt bulky grass types and random fliers.

Vileplume (F) @ Leftovers ** Haxplume
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 244 HP / 116 Atk / 32 Def / 116 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aromatherapy
- Sludge Bomb
- Swords Dance
- Synthesis

It looks clericishly inclined, but with an SD or two those Sludge Bombs are lethal. =3

Slowbro (M) @ Leftovers ** Slowhax
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 212 HP / 160 Def / 136 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Rest
- Thunder Wave

Slow and haxy wins the race. Psychic over Surf because of the abundance of Water types in the metagame.

Shedinja @ Lum Berry ** Haxinja
Trait: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Agility
- Grudge
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Shadow Ball

Pure hax, especially with the lack of Spikers and TTar. Lum Berry handles random status attacks.

Altaria (F) @ Leftovers ** Altahax
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 244 HP / 64 Def / 56 SAtk / 144 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Rest
- Roar
- Sing

It doesn't hax as much, but I needed a phazer that doesn't blow up. .___.

Rate away.

Looks fine, but Shedinja and Altaria's sets look funny.

Sheddy looks funny 'cause it's not the standard CB shizzle, but its Attack is actually quite formidable, and I've KOed quite a bit of Solrocks from silly players who thought they could outspeed it. Besides, it makes it far easier to get Grudge in too, so I like it. ^_^

Altaria looks funny because it is. It's just a random poke I slapped together, Fire Blast because aiming for the grass types is practically the only way for dealing any real damage, Sing for random annoyance and Rest and Roar for obvious reasons because it's supposed to be a Rest-abusing phazer. Might switch FB for Pursuit just for a random nuisance factor, though. Still thinking this one out.

I find the popular ones are better but the random / made-up ones get you some where. Meh, standard > me.

Where is the heal bell? :(

Pedos can give you problems since they resist and can kill many of your pogeys, good luck pulling that plume thing off.

It's only got 10 more base Attack and 9 more base Speed than the Queen, but has 9 less in Sp.Defense and HP and 10 less in Defense, I prefer the extra bulk in this case since I need to switch her into less-than-favourable situations quite a lot. Stupid boltbeam weak...>.<

I mostly use it to soak up not very effectives, unless I plan on blasting it, so surprisingly that hasn't been a very big issue for me yet. It's true that Wailord can't take that many hits, but it's just too much fun to use. ^-^

Maybe, but most people in the UU don't. This team would get trashed by most good players anyway.

Mmmhmm...thanks for the rate, maybe I'll stick Heal Bell onto Altaria and liberate Vileplume from Aromatherapy in favour of a status move (Stun Spore, anyone? =D). The Vileplume actually gets surprisingly many hits in since most people expect the dead standard build and switch in their special walls and grass resistants. ^^

My version of Whailord:

Sassy or Careful nature - water types don't have a physical weakness!
Oblivious ability is better as it can Rest.
172 HP 168 Def 168 SDef + Chesto Berry
-Curse
-Amnesia
-Double Edge/Frustration
-Rest

It's both a physical hitter and a staller...

Due to the lack of Ghost types in UU there is nothing that can resist a Double Edge after 3+ Curses. With its Über HP it won't hurt itself much anyway.

Curse and Amnesia up until you have to use Rest, then you can wake up instantly and keep stalling. When you have enough Attack, just use Double Edge to KO things.

BTW, you know who's the Über h4x0r in UU?

Dunsparce with Serene Grace, Jolly nature, full speed, full HP, Headbutt + Water Pulse + Body Slam + Ancient Power

Reason - 60% paralyze/confuse/stun rate ain't funny!

I asked for UU knowers (Please note the emphasis) to speak up. .___. I know that Wailord build and it's weak and utterly defficient. It's not yours either, by the way; there's a Wailord exactly like that in the Battle Frontier and I know from experience that it sucks. A Wailord without any Attack EVs can't do crap's worth of damage without maxed out Attack (Or a selfdestruct move), and only a complete moron would let a Wailord out of all things just sit there and buff for six turns. That build couldn't even sweep its way through my messed-up EVed Quirky Swampert (Which, I believe, had next to no defensive EVs) and there are certainly way more formidable physical walls in the UU. Also, I actually see a lot of ghosties, particularly misdreavus, around, dunno if it's a trend of some sort, and despite the small amount of different ghosts available, Rock types (Such as Golem) can take the hits easy. Incidentally, Chestoresting sucks. Anyone who knows anything about competitive play would know that.

Sorry, but you should really have payed more attention to this part:

Incidentally, max Speed on Dunsparce is a waste of EVs. It's supposed to play on parahaxx anyway, and paralysis cuts the opponent's Speed, so yeah. Sparce outspeeds without wasting EVs. Dunsparce is also so weak defensively that it won't last for long even in the UU. NU is what sparcey is for.

Did you build the team to beat the frontiers or for link battles?

An easy way to beat the frontiers is to firstly learn their predefined movesets form the factory and make some changes to counter them.

For link battles, it's all about out-strategy the other guy and catching him off guard.

FYI, I find that Chesto + Rest works well against the AI, you'll just need to know exactly when to use Rest without getting KO'ed or wasting the berry.

Well, we all have our own styles of playing - it's a game after all...

I take it you haven't heard about Netbattle? Everyone else figured out that this was an NB team right off the bat. You're obviously out of your depth. -.-

Incidentally, I would never play an UU team on the frontier because UUs simply can't cut it for the gold symbol matches (What with OUs and ubers swarming all over the place). This team is solely for internet play, as the Hidden Power on Sheddy should have made clear. There aren't really that many people to link battle with where I live, anyway. .___.

As for chestoresting...that's a N00B argument. The one 'free' Rest doesn't bring benefits even close to those of constant lefties recovery, especially with high HP pokes like Wailord. Virtually anything works against the AI because it is, to put it bluntly, infernally stupid. That does not, however, change the fact that Curse + Amnesia Wailord fails majorly. SD + special moves is cooler and more efficient.

I don't understand why you still post here, jc.

IMO special sweepers like Electabuzz start raping when sheddy dies, which isn't the hardest of tasks.

Actually, most of the pokes on my team have enough in the way of bulk to take a hit from your average UU spec. sweeper, and with most of them being able to screw Electabuzz over with that one hit (Either through paralysis or OHKO) that it hasn't been as much of an issue as I thought it would. Meh, admittedly I'd be in trouble against a skilled Electabuzz user, though, but getting rid of the boltbeam weak would basically involve ripping up and rebuilding the whole team.
