Anyway, I have a team that has lost more then it has won, but is still (fairly) decent, since I am using only Pokemon/Move combinations that existed in R/S since I can't figure out how to switch version compatibility. (Anyone want to tell me how this works?) Well, here they are- my team of idiots. (Feel free to suggest a new one for the squad.)
Sceptile (Female, nickname Sakura)@Lum Berry
Nature:Timid
Evs: 4 hp, 252 Special attack, 252 Speed.
Moveset:
Attract
Leech Seed
Leaf Blade
Dragon Claw
A basic sweeping Sceptile- I wanted it to be a combo Subseeder/Sweeper, but since Substitute isn't avaiable due to my earlier problem, I make do with Attract. I don't like the setup either.
If you were gonna stall with Attract, you could've at least used sub. Better yet, just get rid of Attract and Dragon Claw, give it HP Ice/Fire and Substitute, add leftovers/Petaya Berry, and call it a day.
Metagross (Nickname Genderless)@Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Evs: Atk 152, Def 131, SpDef 227
Moveset:
Agility
Earthquake
Meteor Mash
Psychic
Why you'd make it Adamant and give it Psychic, I do not understand. Though Psychic has its uses on the right Metagross set, Agility doesnt really further its cause as Metagross doesnt really special sweep that well. Use Explosion or Rock Slide over Psychic. Y.our EVs are not divisible by 4. Use the "Snap" checkbox
Milotic (Female, Nickname Uber)@Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Evs: HP 4, Def 255, Sp. Def 251
Moveset:
Surf
Ice Beam
Recover
Toxic
I made the nature modest to give this one a fighting chance. I love Uber, but she is willing to change, and so am I if anyone wants to give me a better moveset.
Modest doesnt give Milo a "fighting chance" as it wont get a "chance" to attack without the proper EVs. Not to mention Milotic doesn't really damage any of the special walls/counters coming in to really try to give it a +SAtk nature. You'll need 212+ EVs in HP and a Bold Nature to make Milotic work properly. Consider Hypnosis over toxic.
Flygon (male, nickname ROAR!)@Leftovers
Nature:Hardy
Evs: Speed 252, HP 4, Atk 252
Moveset:
HP rock
Sandstorm
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Umm... no comment.
Can't really fathom why you bother with Sandstorm. You can keep Leftovers and use Substitute in that slot, or you can switch HP Rock for Bug, put Rock Slide over Sandstorm, and slap a Choice Band on it. Adamant or Jolly nature please. Please note that Rock Slide is generally a better choice than HP Rock, and you'll more than likely fare better with Fire Blast over Flamethrower
Skarmory (female, nickname Evil Shiny One)@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Evs: 6 Hp, 252 Def, 252 Speed
Moveset:
Toxic
Spikes
Drill Peck
Roar
Roarspiker. Not much else to say.
[b]Max HP before you do anything else to its EVs. You dont really need a mukload of speed unless you're running Taunt tbh. I also kinda snickered that you're running Bold Nature while using Drill Peck. Go with Impish. Toxic would probably be good for a TSS team, but since you have no Tyranitar, use Substitute.
Dusclops (female, nickname Mrs. Death)@Leftovers
Nature:Bold
Evs: 6 Hp, 252 Def, 252 Sp. Def
Moveset:
Will O' the Wisp
Mean Look
Confuse Ray
Night Shade
Pull 'em in with Mean Look, confuse 'em, then hit 'em with night shade. I should probably replace will o' the wisp with a chesto rest, but I'm feeling a bit lazy at the moment.
Clops's HP is too pitiful not to Max out first. Do so, and use Shadow Ball over Night Shade and either Seismic Toss/Focus Punch over Confuse Ray. Pain Split is the general choice for regaining lost HP so put that over Mean Look. Annoyer sets rarely work I'm afraid.
Okay, now rate/flame away!
