I posted a team here a while ago, but that was only supposed to be up until the end of the islands. Once I've got the National Dex and done the things with the ruby and sapphire...thing, this will be the team I'll be working on.

Any critisim(sp) is welcomed as are suggestions as to how I could make it better.

Far to many sweepers I know, I made it with NetBattle so they obviously won't all have Hardy natures.

Anyway, tell me what you think.

Even if you enter it in NB, you can still edit the file and add the proper information. At any rate (pun intended), changes in bold:

Nidoking (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Poison Point
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Megahorn

- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb

Tank/Annoyer

Nidoking is a better physical sweeper. Don't use Normal attacks on non-Normal Pokes. Megahorn is a much better option. More powerful and rips through Dark and Psychics with ease. Rock Slide for flinching.

Charizard (M) @ Leftovers/Salac Berry
Trait: Blaze
Adamant Nature (Neutral)
- Dragon Dance/Swords Dance/Belly Drum
- Fire Blast/Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Sweeper

Don't use both Dragon Dance AND Sunny Day. Too much setup and you made Charizard far too one-dimensional to be of much use. It has bad typing to begin with. Swords Dance can buff up Charizard quicker and Belly Drum A LOT, although you are susceptible to dying more. You could throw in Substitute there somewhere if you want. I would replace it altogether, personally.

Gardevoir (M) @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Trait: Synchronize
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Wish

Sweeper/Cleric

Absol (M) @ (No Item)
Trait: Pressure
Hardy Nature (Neutral)
- Aerial Ace
- Shadow Ball
- Slash
- Swords Dance

Sweeper/Special Attack (Methinks you mean Physical Attack)

Highly advise dumping Absol. Too many better physical attackers with STAB moves. You are better off replacing this with a Poke that can take physical hits. Skarmory, Weezing, Forretress, Umbreon...Pokes like that.

Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Sleep Powder
- Sludge Bomb
/Earthquake
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed/Sludge Bomb/Toxic

Annoyer

Venusaur can tank much better with Sleep Powder and Leech Seed. Earthquake is fine for the pathetic AI which could bring in a Fire-type to counter it, but you will typically find yourself up against something with an Ice move, or a Grass-type that you won't be able to do anything against. A STAB Sludge Bomb can be effective.

Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Hypnosis

- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Surf

Sweeper

This has the same problem as Charizard. Too much setup. Pick Bulk Up or Rain Dance. Keep in mind that Rain Dance ruins your Charizard. Also, using Bulk Up only for Focus Punch will fail you quite more than it hits. This is fix two fold with Hypnosis and Substitute. Hypnosis first, put up a Sub, then sweep away with a hard-hitting Focus Punch (that is guaranteed to land at least once, multiple attack excluded), or a STAB Surf.

Far to many sweepers I know, I made it with NetBattle so they obviously won't all have Hardy natures.

Anyway, tell me what you think.
If this is strictly in-game, just get a better Poke that can absorb physical hits and you should be okay. Sad, pathetic AI.
