I just wanted to know what can be the best moveset for a dragonite. I'll probably put it in my D/P team. so thanks anyway.

For D/P, use either the Subpunch set Synchronize gave you or use this:

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Adamant nature
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Dragon Dance
Thunder/Fire Blast

I think that's the standard DDnite in D/P, but I'm not completely sure. But either way, it can do some serious damage.

Why would you give a DDnite Ice Beam? And Fire Blast and Thunder > T-bolt and Flamethrower for Pokémon that aren't meant to do special sweeping. They are meant to 2-hit KO Skarmory, which Flamethrower and Thunderbolt don't always do.

^No.

Dragonite @Life Orb
Adamant Nature
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch/Fire Blast
-Dragon Dance

Seriously awesome. DD'd Life Orbed Outrage kills everything in sight except superdefensive Steels, who die to the other attacks.

Whoa. That's the first time i've ever seen Outrage as a serious option.

180 (Dragon) is nothing to sneeze at considering it's neutral to everything but (Steel) especially after a Dragon Dance. I have a few questions though...

Isn't Outrage a loop attack? So after you use it once you are locked into that move.

What happens when you DD and then hit whatever poke with an Outrage only to have Metagross / Jibacoil / etc. switch in after the first Outrage? Aren't you stuck in the Outrage attack and have to pull him out wasting the Dragon Dance? What i'm asking is aren't you screwed if the opponent knows what you are up to and holds off his (Steel) type until after you use Outrage? Of course this could be an awesome way of luring out enemy Skarmorys so you can counter them with your own Jibacoil.

In general the 4th Generation made (Dragon) Physical Attacks a great optiuon because it now fits with Dragon Dance <the greatest Stat Up in my opinion>. Being neutral to everything but (Steel) is also cool because almost all (Dragon) pack a (Fire) move anyway.

As aragorn said, it kills EVERYTHING that isnt steel, too bad it is a loop attack, or it would seriuosly be made known as the best dragon attack <_<

True.

I wasn't dissing AragornBird's build. :paranoid: I was just shocked because i've never seen Outrage used before. I thought he might have another trick up his sleave or something i was missing. I was hoping he could let us in on how he intended to use him in a team strategy. You could almost use him like a Reversaler and lure out and kill off the (Steel) types before Dancing and Sweeping with this monster. This thing could also lure out the (Steel) type once they realize what you are up too.

In 2v2 this thing would wreck shop with a partner that could drop a Safeguard and stem the inevitable confusion. I think it's safe to say that Life Orb will be the new ChoiceBand on crack.

Outrage shocked me but with the new generation and PorygonZ commiting genocide with HyperBeam nothing should anymore. I just need to buckle up and soak up the newness that is 4th Gen.

Skarm/Forretress take up to 43% from one Outrage. Metagross can get 2KOed (no one invests EVs too heavily in the defenses). Jibacoil definitely gets 2KOed.

Rayquaza can use the same set in the uber metagame.
