Let's discuss some of our biggest questions and point out the big illogical anomalies about battling. I know you've got 'em. For example:

Why is it, that many of the rules still apply when a Pokemon is asleep? Like, how can a Pokemon still be wrapped around a Pokemon (after using wrap) when they're asleep. Or, how is it that when a Pokemon ups it's evasiveness, it still applies when they are sleeping. A lot of these things should be null if the Pokemon have been put to sleep in battle.

Answers or more questions?

Since you seem to be referring to the games with this, I'll move it over to the Other Pokémon Games forum, as these things apply to all of them.

What I don't get is...

How do moves like Earthquake, Dig, Magnitude, etc... work when you're surfing?
How do moves like Surf work on land? Does the giant wave just materialize out of thin air? And Dive... even more confusing. When you're battling on land, where can a Pokemon find water to dive into?

Is it correct that in 2 vs. 2 battles, if a Pokemon is attracted to one of the opponents, it still only has a 50% chance of attacking either opponent (even if it is not attracted to the other opponent)? I'm pretty sure that's true, but I find it rather irrational... unless they're implying something like "if a Pokemon loves its opponent, it won't hurt its opponent's teammate". Bleah...

Yea I also dont get using water type moves like surf and dive near a non water place (thank god that doesn't happen in Mystery Dungeon) and vice versa. And no they didn't fix that in Diamond and Pearl which is stupid
