I seem to really like team building lately...

The initial idea for this one came from a "Salamence vs Dragonite" argument I found on Google. One of them said that Dragonite was a better Dragon Dancer and Salamence was a better CBer. I decided to test this...

Salamence (M) @ Choice Band ** Elvarg
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide
This guy is a monster. With no Dragon Dance to set up with I can tear through anything.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers ** Draco
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 120 HP / 168 Atk / 56 Def / 104 Spd / 60 SAtk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Thunder
The ability to take unstabbed Ice Beams and Slaking Hyper Beams, along with bringing down Skarmory, makes Dragonite very good. I'd like to thank Synchronize for the EVs. Got em when he made a favorites team for me in Reqeust-A-Team. =)

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers ** Godzilla
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Spd / 188 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Crunch
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
With Dragonite and Salamence, I just HAD to include ol' Tar. With Salamence CBing and Dragonite DDing, I had to make Godzilla here a Boah.

Suicune @ Leftovers ** Marina
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Spd / 248 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar
- Surf
I feel pretty sorry for my opponent when I bring this in.

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers ** Clank
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Spikes
- Substitute
- Whirlwind
A Skarmory.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Haxey
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave
A Blissey embued with the power of hax. I almost beat Ace777 with parahax, but unfortunately those who rely on such luck are fools in the end. I lost. =(

This is probably my best team so far, I've been winning alot of battles with this. Yeah, I feel a tad guilty for SkarmBlissing and using some of the most common Pokemon out there, but Dragonite let me forgive myself.

Salamence (M) @ Choice Band ** Elvarg
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide
This guy is a monster. With no Dragon Dance to set up with I can tear through anything.
And no Dragon Dance means no Speed boost, therefore we have Jolly Nature to make up for that.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers ** Draco
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 120 HP / 168 Atk / 56 Def / 104 Spd / 60 SAtk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance

As Thunderbolt will still 2hko Skarmoy like Thunder does, then it's better to stick with that.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers ** Godzilla
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Spd / 188 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Crunch
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Uh yeah, why does he have Speed EVs and Quiet Nature?

Suicune @ Leftovers ** Marina
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 20 Spd / 72 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar
- Surf
I feel pretty sorry for my opponent when I bring this in.
Cune is actually supposed to serve as a Physical Tank/Bulky Water.

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers ** Clank
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 216 Def / 96 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Spikes
- Substitute
- Whirlwind
A Skarmory.
EVs redone.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Haxey
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 212 HP / 176 Def / 120 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Ice Beam
A Blissey embued with the power of hax. I almost beat Ace777 with parahax, but unfortunately those who rely on such luck are fools in the end. I lost. =(
Use Ice Beam or else Gengar will punish you.

This is probably my best team so far, I've been winning alot of battles with this. Yeah, I feel a tad guilty for SkarmBlissing and using some of the most common Pokemon out there, but Dragonite let me forgive myself.
If you're not careful, Gengar will bust up everything in this team. Not to mention Zapdos will cause problems.

Jolly wtf? Salamence gets way more mileage out of Adamant. It's always been the standard. Outspeeding stuff doesn't make up for 36 less Attack.

Skarmory wants max HP ALWAYS.

Blissey wants max Defense ALWAYS.

Iceman, step into my office, and under my wing.

edit: You have Salamence and Dragonite on the same team. That's pretty redundant.

Thunder works better on DDNite, as it hits Bulky Waters hard enough to make a significance, unlike Thunderbolt, which, under Adamant Nature, will barely get into the low 30 percentages as far as damage.

Yeah but the accuracy also has a tendency to bite at the wrong times. I went with bolt, but I might change back. If dragonite can boost enough he can take care of bulky waters with his physical attacks.

I've noticed this team also has Vaporeon issues... doggone Vaporeon...

Oh and it's not THAT redundant... Dragonite and Mence are doing different things. (Well, sort of different.) Salamence is dealing damage at a fixed boost with Choice Band, and ONLY dealing physical hits. While Dragonite is boosting with Dragon Dance, and could go past it. Plus unlike Mence he can take down Skarmory effectively. =P
... well, I guess it's sort of redundant.
But that's where the idea for the team came from.

A Lapras... think of the damage it would do to the first half of your team... Then just wrap it all up with a strong Electric type and your team is gone...

...Except nobody's going to be crazy enough to keep Nite against a Bulky Water anyway. As far as trying to gamble a switch-in, the most common thing they'll send out would be Swampert, or for that matter, anything of Ground-Typing that will easily resist everything Dragonite has.

Thunder/Thunderbolt on DDNite is on there for just about the same purpose as Fire Blast on Salamence, which is to damage Skarm while getting Roared out. Because apparently, Bulky Waters carry Ice Beam, an attack that does severe, if not OHKOs, Dragonite. And Dragonite should not have to take a gamble, especially when using moves with 70% Acc., that aren't powered up in the first place.

Dragonite usually survives any unboosted or unSTABed Ice Beams. Swampert Ice Beams for example, only infact 2HKO Dragonite. He usually manages to hang in there with something like 20% left, even from a Vaporeon. That potentially is enough time to get one more Dragon Dance in before sweeping the team.

STABed Ice Beams though he can't survive. Got OHKO'd by a Walrien when a UUer challenged me... and later won. He doesn't handle Calm Minded Ice Beams too well either.

Come on, Ice. You know good and well the purpose of Fire Blast and Thunder are really to catch things on the switch. You know Milotic is on the team after one switch in, and you can be pretty sure it's going to come in next time, so you simply fire a Thunder away.
