So Yeah...
Stone Edge is 100 Power, 80 accuracy, 5 pp, High Chance of Crit Hit
Rock Slide is 75 Power, 90 accuracy, 10 pp, with a 30% Flinch

Stone Edge is more powerful, but less accurate and lower on PP. Sure its good and all, but if it misses, its bad.
Rockslide is a little more accurate, has a little bit less power, but has a 30% flinch rate.

Which do you guys think is best?
I was planning on Stone Edge for a Rhyperior I'm using, but Rock Slide looks kinda nice too. With a CB, its still powerful, and more dependable really, it has more PP and more accuracy, and the flinch can really hurt.
So yeah, which do you think will be the prefered one? Or which one is better?

Yeah, helping to get away from RMTs? =D

It all depends if you are willing to sacrifice the accuracy for the power really, It doesnt matter really... they need more 95 pow 100 acc attacks for Rock really =/

Yeah, rock doesn't have too much.

It is only 10 accuracy, but If it misses...
Rhyp can still do some damage with rockslide, and the extra flinch is just a nice bonus, as you can attack again, almost like a crit hit =P

I don't know... maybe i'll try one, and if its bad, switch.

Wow, there are certainly a lot of things Rhyperior can flinch with only 40 base speed. ;[

So essentially, you can cross off the Flinch bonus since it ain't gonna happen. As a result, this makes Stone Edge FAR superior (it was already superior in the first place).

Oh, I didn't know speed played a role in it.

No wonder my poke in battle factory was pwning with it. Ninjask passed a ton of speed...

the power difference between rock slide and stone edge is even more significant when you consider STAB. and as aragorn pointed out, there's no point in the flinch when it's slow ._.
