Random Pokemon Team

Spiritomb
[Mild Nature] [+Sp.Atk -Def]
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Will-o-Wisp
- Confuse Ray / Ominous Wind
Foo, Special Spiritomb will rule.

Lumineon
[Lonely Nature] [+Atk -Def]
- Aqua Tail / Giga Impact / Water Pulse
- Aqua Ring
- U-Turn
- Brine
I'm using my Aqua Tail on Palkia, but would Giga Impact or Water Pulse do? Lol, Physical Lumineon. I'm thinking of replacing this with a Special Sweeper, though...

Bastiodon
[Gentle Nature]
- Stealth Rock
- Rest
- Metal Burst
- Iron Defence
Tank. Metal Burst is because it still has okay Attack stats, and with it's low speed anmd high defence it will strike second and be able to survive a good hit.

Ambipom
[Jolly Nature] [+Spd -Sp.Atk]
- Last Resort
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Shadow Claw
Whee, Focus Punching Ambipom.

Glaceon
[Impish Nature] [+Def -SpAtk]
- Double Team
- Rest
- Protect
- Sleep Talk
Tank Glaceon. I know Umbri does so much better, but I'm only using Sinnoh Pokemon.

Hippowdon
[Adamant Nature] [+Atk -Sp.ATK]
- Earthquake
- Double-Edge
- Stone Edge
- Curse / Thunder Fang
Random Physical Sweeper... The only downside is that dang Sandstream!

For future reference, please leave the centering. It's just plain annoying. Seriously, what ever happened to the people who use standard format? >_< Also, you should provide traits and held items. Comments and corrections in bold.

Random Pokemon Team

Spiritomb
[Mild Nature] [+Sp.Atk -Def] Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot Calm Mind/Amnesia
- Dark Pulse
- Will-o-Wisp
- Confuse Ray / Ominous Wind Rest/Pain Split

Foo, Special Spiritomb will rule.

Not without HP recovery moves and certainly not with a sucky Mild nature or as a lead. :\ Seriously, why on earth would you want to have Mild when Spiritomb thrives on its defenses and isn't using Atk for anything? -.- Anyway, Confuse Ray and Ominous Wind rely on luck and thus fail majorly. Shadow Ball > Ominous Wind because of higher base power and PP, and Confuse Ray...urgh, that move is just sad, and for some reason which eludes me all new people think it's great. .__. Rest or Pain Split is a must for Spiritomb, a Ghost attack when you already have Dark Pulse is pointless, however, as they are basically covering the same types. Also, Calm Mind or Amnesia over Nasty Plot. Spiritomb isn't sweeping through anything in a hurry, but that extra SDef will help it last out against special sweepers.

Lumineon @ Leftovers/Life Orb
[Lonely Nature] [+Atk -Def] Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Satk)
Trait: Swift Swim
- Aqua Tail
- Aqua Ring
- U-Turn
- Brine Rain Dance
I'm using my Aqua Tail on Palkia, but would Giga Impact or Water Pulse do? Lol, Physical Lumineon. I'm thinking of replacing this with a Special Sweeper, though...

Dare I ask what made you even consider Giga Impact? Return just beats that move in both flexibility and total damage, and it's not like Lumineon is going to score any strategic KOs to make it worthwhile. :\ Also, this is the second time you've put a defense-reducing nature on what is first and foremost a defensive pokémon. Why oh why? Lumineon as a whole fails, though. It has a terrible statline, a weak movepool, and doesn't have any unique trait or type combination with which to compensate. There are just so many better water pokémon you could have here. If you really want to try sweeping with this then use Rain Dance and Swift Swim, but don't expect it to be efficient. Really, Gyarados plays the part of the physical sweeping water type far better. Also, Giga Impact and Water Pulse just aren't viable options...ever. One has the afforementioned recharge suckiness and the other doesn't have the needed base power.

Bastiodon @ Leftovers
[Gentle Nature] Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Rest
- Metal Burst Toxic/Roar
- Iron Defence
Tank. Metal Burst is because it still has okay Attack stats, and with it's low speed anmd high defence it will strike second and be able to survive a good hit.

Bastiodon is one of those pokémon that could have worked had it not been completely undermined by its type combination. Rock/Steel has a double weakness against both Ground and Fighting type attacks (Both very common for physical sweepers) and not even those high defensive abilities are going to keep it safe for long. Metal Burst is pointless since the whole idea here is not to take damage. Also, that Gentle (-Def, +SDef) nature is just plain silly. Impish ftw, and something to let it force switches for Stealth Rock damage. Again, there are many better alternatives out there, though.

Ambipom @ Choice Band
[Jolly Nature] [+Spd -Sp.Atk]
Trait: Technician
- Last Resort Fake Out
- Substitute Pursuit
- Focus Punch/U-Turn
- Shadow Claw Double Hit
Whee, Focus Punching Ambipom.

Sort of pointless, really. Ambipom thrives on low-power (below 60 base) attacks because of Technician. Fake Out is an obvious choice here, as combined with STAB, Choice Band (Which I definitely recommend), Technician and Ambipom's high attack power it can OHKO a lot of troublesome things before they get a single attack in. Pursuit is also awesome as it lets you deal some serious damage whenever you switch Ambipom in on something that can't counter it. Double Hit is also there on account of Technician, as it will not only become considerably strong, while enjoying STAB, but also be able to break through weaker substitutes. Focus Punch can stay for prediction, but U-Turn can be fun too. This should definitely be in the lead slot, by the way.

Glaceon @ Leftovers
[Impish Nature] [+Def -SpAtk] Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Double Team Ice Beam
- Rest/Wish
- Protect/Yawn
- Sleep Talk Shadow Ball/Yawn
Tank Glaceon. I know Umbri does so much better, but I'm only using Sinnoh Pokemon.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help laughing at this. This as a tank? Puh-lease, tanking requires far more HP than this one can ever hope to gain. Besides, the set you've put here is good for absolutely nothing. I mean, it just sits there and stalls but doesn't accomplish anything at all and the moment you run into an opponent of any skill they'll just sit there and buff up then OHKO this with a never-miss move and sweep you. Just say no to Double Team; it's cheap and will fail you in the long run. This awesome pokémon is just wasting away without ever getting to do anything useful. .__. Ice Beam is a no-brainer because of STAB and Glaceon's high SAtk and Shadow Ball widens the type coverage a bit. Wish is a very viable option over Rest since it can also be used for team support, and Yawn works well with Stealth Rock since it is effective in forcing switches. Protect I'd really only suggest as support for Yawn or Wish. For a more supportively minded one, you could also try;

Glaceon @ Lefotvers
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
Ice Beam
Wish
Baton Pass
Protect/Charm

Basically, the idea is to use Wish, then Baton Pass to a team member in need of healing. For this to work, Glaceon needs to be slower than the opponent (hence the Relaxed nature) so that the opponent's attack will hit Glaceon rather than your switch-in. Protect is there in case Glaceon needs to recover (as it can block out your opponent for that turn Wish needs to work) and Charm adds more supportiveness. Both will work better than a lame DT Stalker.

Hippowdon @ Choice Band/Life Orb
[Adamant Nature] [+Atk -Sp.ATK]
- Earthquake
- Double-Edge Ice Fang
- Stone Edge
- Curse / Thunder Fang/Slack Off
Random Physical Sweeper... The only downside is that dang Sandstream!

Yeah, Hippowdon is cool but just completely wrong for this team. Sandstream really calls for a team that's protected from it, especially in DP where those pokémon get a boost to their SDef. As it is, this thing is just biting your own leg. Rhyperior with Solid Rock over this imo, it's a tough physical hitter and also awesome at taking hits. It's penalty-free too.
Okay, this team needs a makeover. Lumineon just really needs to go. A tough special sweeper like Togekiss would be a good replacement since your team really can't do squat against heavy physical walls. Porygon Z is also good at that, but your team already has a glaring fighting type weak. Most importantly, however, learn to stay clear of junk like Giga Impact, Confuse Ray, and Double Team. It really only takes a few moments of logical thinking to see that they're all worthless in practice. -.-

Lumineon is useless. Replace it.

Glaceon
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

Random Physical Sweeper... The only downside is that dang Sandstream!
Replace with Garchomp. DO IT.
I don't see too much hope with this team. Some of the other people could probably help you better than I can.
EDIT: Alter Ego Beat me to it
