Ok then. I am pretty new to most tactical things regarding Pokemon. I am by far a veteran, been with the games since their release [ Red / Blue release, that is ], but only a year ago did I learn of things such as EVs and whatnot. Basically I am trying to say that I don't really try to max out my Pokemon to ultimate levels for internet combat, I just want a team with good movesets. [ In-Game team, mind you ] *shrugs* Here's hoping I do this correctly.

This team is strictly for the Elite Four, so don't be surprised that there aren't any fantastically great D/P ones.

Infernape - 67
Blaze
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Grass Knot

Staraptor - 67
Intimidate
- Fly
- Close Combat
- Steel Wing
- Roost

Roserade - 66
Poison Point
- Petal Dance
- Toxic
- Sludge Bomb
- Protect

Bronzong - 65
Levitate
- Earthquake
- Psychic
- Flash Cannon
- Hypnosis [ or Confuse Ray ]

Drapion - 65
Sniper
- X-Scissor
- Cross Poison
- Crunch
- Arial Ace

Garchomp - 66
Sand Veil
- Earthquake
- Surf
- Flamethrower [ or Brick Brake ]
- Draco Meteor [ or Dragon Pulse ]

Now overall, I dislike this team. It is pretty powerful, and you can't argue with 11 types. However, they're not by far my favourites. My original team basically was horrid, and impossible to train. Thus, these guys. You notice that there is no water Pokemon, and that is due to me favouring Drapion over Lumineon. If you feel a water would be more suitable, please do recommend one and whom to replace.

I flipped through pages of moves to find the ones that would appeal to the Pokemon's as well as defend it against type-trumpers. The bracketed moves are the ones I really couldn't decide, and I'd appreciate some suggestions. Thanks. ^^

Edit: Oh, and if you could suggest traits or held items, that'd be great. If not, just ratings / comments would be good. Thanks again.

All I can say is that team is like 100 times better then the team I used against the elite 4 lol. I have like a 60 something kadabra, and the rest were lvl 50 or lower and they were... Torterra, Staraptor, Kricetune, Luxray, and Bidoof. Other then that I like the team.

I would say hypnosis over confuse ray. And as for Garchomp I really don't know. I like flamethrower, but fot the elite 4 I would say both are fine. And for dragon move whatever you prefer.

Thanks. ^^ I'm a training person, I'm addicted to keeping a training schedule per each Gym, so I'm set with that. The VS Seeker makes my job easier tenfold.

Also, as a note to future repliers: this is a planned team, not an actual one. All Nature / Move suggestions can be easily made. Also, I'm alright with breeding for better moves.

you don't need steel wing on staraptor when you already have close combat. also, you don't need roost. staraptor can't take much hits with close combat anyway, so you may as well give it Return and U-Turn.

roserade needs energy ball. get rid of petal dance. get rid of toxic for leech seed and protext for either sleep powder or aromatherapy.

ehh i have nothing to say about bronzong. its feasible that way ingame, but not anywhere else.

garchomp is a physical sweeper. give it physical attacks.
