Well, we have a wide range of topics for everyone, and since most of these topics are not quite similar, we can't just combine them in one forum.
If the amount of forums disturbs you, you can simply minimize the categories that you have least interest in.
That way you won't get disturbed by the large amount of forums, but they remain still visible to those who are interested in them.

We don't have Sub-Forums just to have them. Nor do we add them just for fun. Sure we could lose 2 or 3 Sub-Forums. But all of them have a reason for being there (may it be to split up the Pokemon Handheld Games, or make it easier for groups to be found in Mixed Community Groups). If we need a new one we (the Staff) make one, and if we need to get rid of one we do so.

And like Marc said, if you think it's too large, make it smaller. On each category there is an arrow button (it's off to the right side of the page), click that and it'll close up that category. Click it again to open it.

@Saud-Blaziken: Your post is pointless... O_o

The Our Member Sites category could really go under Official Forums. I suggested that a while ago but no one listened to me.

Then why don't you?

It's not like all the forums are so incredibly busy that you need to split them up. Some of them barely get 20 posts in a day I would guess. This site is incredibly slow, and I'm not sure if the subforums may be a problem (I don't really know anything about vbulletin or websites)

On each category there is an arrow button (it's off to the right side of the page), click that and it'll close up that category. Click it again to open it.
Thanks for letting me know.

Oh, that's been suggested before at a higher level. Hell, I think this forum would be better than a category of feedback forums (since that's what it's for).

The community sites like to have a prominent position aside from links on every page though. And at least this way I can hide them from view and successfully ignore them. <_<

I love the specifics we're getting. If you've noticed some forums that could probably be done in, point them out instead of leaving us guessing. XD

May not be my place to say, but I think the Webmasters' forum could easily be merged back into one now. It doesn't get that many posts anymore so there isn't really a need to keep everything separate, I think. Almost every thread on each of the subforum main pages are stickied threads so... o_o

I myself have suggested the same thing...

I made a list in one of the other threads of which ones I think could go... can't remember which thread though.

Go ahead and merge WD back into one board; I'm fine with it, and I'm sure Matt will agree with me. We'll take care of figuring out the stickies, but yeah, we just don't get the activity we used to. And to be honest, I'm often not sure what goes where either. XD;

Canine Munch, the reason this section of the message board even exists is to give suggestions and feedback of stuff that bothers us. Sure, sometimes it won't matter...but do you think 3 administrators and a mod would reply to my post (agreeing with me, I think) if no one cared? Read the replies before you leave some generic, simple-solution post.

I honestly think the pokemon TCG thread doesn't need 4 (omg) subsections...I mean some of the sections only have 2 threads. It's terribly unbusy and doesn't need to be broken up so much. The site is so buggy I'm scared whenever I click a link. The less clicking the better :).

As a regular visitor to the TCG section, I'd also have to agree with you there - PC's TCG community isn't really that active, and if KS wasn't so dedicated to the COTD threads we'd barely have anything there. I think it's because the serious TCG players mostly go to the two big TCG forums.

Although, DragronWarroir2000x, you seem a bit confused - purple italic names are community supporters, not admins. :)

Because we're all very lazy Staff that likes to sit back and play cards all day and not do anything on PC. XD

Pokemon TCG Forum (not thread).
But I agree, I'm pretty sure I wasn't fond of the idea from the start. TCG has always been slow (unless that was the reason why KS wanted it split, to sort of revive it), so there's no need to have 5 Sub-Forums when the whole thing doesn't get 20 posts a week.

Unless he means the 2 SAs and one AA, if that's the case then he's right on 2 out of 3. XD
(But no, I think you're right JA, he was looking at the Supporters XD)

Yeah, Andy, I figured he was looking at the CSs because there were admins, but they didn't seem to be agreeing with him too much, and he mentioned their agreement. XD;

The colours on the FAQ are out of date - they should be fixed, the CS colour is definitely out and I think the mod colour is too.

Yes, Let it include these:

Help Forum:

Advices
Anything else

Yugioh:

TCG Discussion
"The Help Forum" ~ A lot of stuff like that can go on Other Chat. So theres no need for a new forum or two about it.

"Yu-Gi-Oh Forum" ~ We're a Pokemon forum, not an anime/TCG forum. True many of our threads in Other Cards is about YGO. But why should we make a new forum about something that only has 5 or so threads that's gotten a post in the last month?

To be perfectly honest I think PC has just the right number of categories and Subfoums...
The only reason I can see ever needing any more of them is if there is like a bazillion active threads all related to one subject...then it's ok to split them from the rest because that can cause clutter....Right now I dont see that problem anywhere....
