These are 2 of my shiny pokes (so natures can't be changed) and I need to see which movesets work best when I enter them into competitive battles.

The ones I have so far are:

[email protected]
Docile nature
Moves:
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Surf
Confuse Ray

[email protected] Berry
Careful nature
Moves:
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Crunch
Substitute

But can anyone think of better movesets? Note that Lapras has max Sp. Atk EVs and its defense stats are only on the border of 200 each, so no wall sets. And Sharpedo's EVs are mainly on Attack and Speed, so no special sweeper sets. I am short on EV deducting berries so don't even go there.

i love these two so i of course figured to help ya. heal bell is obvious... refresh is if you can't get heal bell. pretty good on lapras tho... it can absorb status for your team, and if you happen to get poisoned refresh works well with it.

sharpedo @ choice scarf is SOO awesome. even w/o sp attack EVs, surf is good on it for foes with lower special defense. most rock or ground types can take a hit from Waterfall, but they can't survive a Surf. and besides, sharpedo's base sp attack is 95, which is pretty good, and enough to do more damage on those with low sp defense.

Mind you, Psychic is pointless on Lapras since Surf, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt handle just about any given opponent better. The only exception is Lanturn, which will screw Lapras over anyway.

Docile nature
Moves:
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Surf/Sing
Confuse Ray Rest

Well, would you look at that? It's a pokémon whose optimal moveset hasn't really changed. :3 Confuse Ray is a pointless luck move, so ditch that. Rest is what you'll want. Also, Sing is an option over Surf since it adds some versatility to the set while Ice Beam and Thunderbolt still handle the type coverage.

Sharpedo@ Choice Band
Careful nature
Moves:
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Crunch
Substitute Waterfall

CB Sharpedo ftw. Sucks about the nature, but at least it's not directly working against you.

Nyu, Lapras' HP tops at 464, so it should be sufficient for walling. It's not like it really has what it takes to sweep.

Oh wait, strike that: it can sort of sweep, but that would call for egg moves:

Lapras @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Earthquake
Avalanche
Waterfall
Dragon Dance

DDLapras, lol. Technically, its Atk is as good as its SAtk, though. :O
