I never really liked Mobius but have considered using him. I can spin M/Ts with Raiza and I have a Heavy and MST. Nobody plays Mobius anymore.

I can pretty much play Cyber Dragon at anytime that I start to lose field advantage to gain it back by playing a Dragon and tributing for a Monarch.

Field clearance is what Monarchs is about, heavy control.

I'll rather touch the trap sections, 3 Cyber is a given even with 9 monarchs. Trap Dustshoot should just enter main deck directly over sakuretsu armor. If you want to stop perfect circle, you have to try to blast malicious out of the hand as soon as possible, and also it's great for blasting opponent's cyber dragon when they are clearly monarchs as well.

Sakuretsu armor is definitely in the decline, with most traps now focusing on stopping the monsters (monarchs) to hit the field before they can even enter battle phase. Also, I have heard that Canada National Champion used a modified gadget or something? So that's another contributing factor to sakuretsu decline.

I'll personally take out froggy and dekoichi for 2 cyber phoenix instead if available. Its ability is simply amazing for helping trooper and cyber dragon, giving you something to work with even if the opponent suddenly goes totally anti-monarch with sidedeck.

Still greatest worry is probably D-Hero Monarchs... just can't match destiny draw and malicious at the moment, even though this got more summoning power.

You know I prefer Sakuretsu Armor over Dustshoot. You know you just put it back in the deck, which won't save you for long because Perfect Circle draws so much and gets advantage quickly. It has D-Draw and Disk Dude, which gives you cards fast. They will draw into the things you put back with Dustshoot quickly. You can only run 3 Dustshoots max, Which means eventually you will run out and they will still be getting massive advantage so I prefer removal (so I prefer Confi/Mind Crush and field removal). Not saying that Dustshoot isn't a good card, I'm just saying it's more of a side board card around here and from the decks I saw at all three Nationals and from the good players I know. My friend did take this to Regionals and got top 16 which is pretty good for his second regionals, though he didn't have the Troopers.

Though I just got back into the game so I'm just saying what I've seen.

Perfect Circle draws so much that it's the only reason why D. D. Crow is found in a few sidedeck and has seen play in a few of the feature matches in metagame by removing Malicious to give the players a false sense of security that their monarch can come out whenever they want. The only other way to "stop" Perfect Circle is simply to look for ways to blast D-Hero with Dustshoot before they can D-Draw it away, or blast trooper back.

It's insanely aggressive format where the "delay" of putting them in the deck maybe what you need to win with your own 9 monarchs already.

Either methods can't really stop perfect circle with Raiza to flip the traps back to the top of the deck, unless it's rug... I'll rather put 3rd rug or 3rd decree over confiscation/twister (or mobius over twister), but I see that as only a preference myself.

(oh forgot to mention, depending on how popular crystal beasts are in that region, switch a zaborg for mobius... zaborg is not as effective as mobius when their key card is not a monster but field card that is has the ability to protect itself.)

I've tried Dustshoot out in the main deck and I didn't like it at all. It works better as a side deck card for me. I'd rather just Sakaretsu their Monarchs and make them burn resources, while the resources do build up fast I'll be fine with Pulling and Sakaretsu Armor.

Mobius is horrid.
