Do you really need to ask? I like him because he was the first starter I actually loved enough to implement into my teams (considering I never liked or used any of the starters in Blue and Red). Also, I like how he looks, and being from the south, it's always good to see alligators in shows and games. Some kind of southern pride I guess.

Second would be Empoleon, once again, because the looks were just utterly awesome. I'm an artist; looks mean a lot to me.

Blastiose. Doesn't get any better than that.
Ash releases strong pokemon and Paul releases weak pokemon.Ash=stupid,Paul=smart.
Congratulations! Your Super Smash Bros. Melee has evolved into Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
Super Smash Bros. Brawl wants to learn the character Lucario.
However, Super Smash Bros. Brawl already knows four pokemon characters.
Should a character be deleted and replaced with Lucario?
Which character should be forgotten?
1,2, and... ... ... Poof!
Super Smash Bros. Brawl forgot Mewtwo.
And...
Super Smash Bros. Brawl learned Lucario!

It's a difficult pick for me. I personally like Ferligatr the best, but Swampert's the one who has the most value to me in battle. Empoleon's also very useful.

Blastoise, sadly, got the short end of the stick on this one. :|

Blastoise.I think that's the only water starter type I like.

Bleh, none of the above. But, if I had to pick one, I'd probably pick Empoleon because Piplup is a cutie. :X Blastoise is a close second, but Empoleon can learn a wider range of attacks. Swampert and Feraligatr are ugly, imo. :(

Blastoise. Empoleon comes in second, and looks cooler. But its Steel-typing is a liability when going up against Ground-types. I still have him on my Platinum team, though :P

Ever since first gen, I've found Blastioise to be versatile and easy for me to use in-game.

Empoleon o3o

Idk why I don't really like Blastoise and Swampert. Feraligatr looks fine, and strong too, but I prefer Empoleon. Higher SP. Attack ftw.

I'd have to go with Blastoise in this case. Can't beat the originals, though I really like Swampert, even if its pre-evolution is subject to a stupid meme. Third would be Feraligatr, which I never really cared for but didn't exactly dislike, and then last is Empoleon, which is a joke like the other two Sinnoh starters.

They're all awesome besides Swampert.

Ehhhhh I'm going to have to go with my Blastoise. When I got Pokémon Blue back in '99, I made Squirtle my Starter because he was on the box art and even though Bulbasaur is actually my favourite Kanto Starter, I gotta admit, Blastoise pretty much swept the opposition away. (: Although I'm now replaying Cyrstal with Feraligatr, and damn, he's all sorts of awesome too. >_<
