Missed its runs on Cartoon Network but always wanted to see it, recently started collecting the dvds, only up to where you first see Anemone (ep 10?) but I am very pleased so far. Ive heard it takes a very serious turn around the 15th episode and I can already see it getting that way. The first two discs were pretty happy go lucky.

I have high hopes though so no spoilers please :p

There's a manga? XD

Anywho, it didn't start airing on YTV here until last September, but since then I've been an avid follower. The plot is unique, fresh, and offers many different elements, although it gets pretty freaky later on in. The art style is also pretty neat, setting it apart from a majority of other anime. We're currently at episode 30-something. XD

I was seriously excited when I saw this topic! Its got to be my favorite Anime, I've seen all 50 episode (and have them on my hard drive) and have almost all the songs on MP3, I have all 4 OP songs, all 4 END songs and both Insert Songs, I have the Insert Songs and the OPs on my MP3 player although the last 2 END's are the only END themes on my MP3 player. I wish they still aired the dub though.

I never quite agreed with the general art style of Eureka Seven, especially where the mecha were concerned; Nirvash typeZERO, Nirvash typeTheEND, the Terminus line, and the Spearheads all look like the illegitimate kids of Evangelions, while the KLF Mon-Soono and VC10 take their design cues from the original Mobile Suit Gundam (in particular, the mono-eye motif).

Aesthetic concerns aside, the plot was actually something original for once. The music wasn't too bad. The English dub was top-notch. All in all, a net gain as far as I'm concerned.

I have yet to see the anime. ;__; I always fell asleep when it was on Adult Swim.

I'm reading the manga, though. I'm looking forward to getting volume 5 (Yes, it's out, I just don't have any moneeeyyy).
